Well, Ninetoes is actually not some chicklet that fell into our lap, but a genuinely gifted producer and Dj that has been playing spots around the globe and mastering his craft for more than fifteen years.

After the huge success of the Finder track on Kling Klong, Ninetoes has been busy with original and remixes under Saved Records, Noir Music, Suara, Stereo Productions, Kontor Records and many more. Be it his sophisticated selection, his outstanding and creative mixing skills or his infectious personality: his sets are a treat to anyone with the slightest soft spot for house and techno records.

Hailing from a German motorcity and equipped with a Hip-Hop-background, this music enthusiast knows how to tastefully tear up a party in a way few others do. Watch out for his forthcoming releases and try to catch him play in a city near you, because “Finder” is definitely only the first step on Ninetoe’s path!

As the owners of Rotary Cocktail Recordings, Polymorph, CUTZ.ME, and three other mysterious imprints, they provide a steady flow of music and talent from Germany to the rest of the world. As DJs and producers, their music runs inherently deep, with a raw and kicking signature. The ideas of funk and soul serve as its backbone across styles like house, techno, dub, and electronica. Some of today’s most recognized labels have taken note, with youANDme releases making their way onto Cocoon, Rekids, Pokerflat, Compost, Rebirth, and more bespoke efforts like Ornaments.

Apart from original productions, they’re also well known for their remixes and edits, having done official work for original house music heroes like Moodymann, Robert Owens, and Paul Johnson or contemporary powerhouses such as Radio Slave, Seth Troxler, Steve Bug, and Lawrence. 2015 sees another release for Cocoon and a new outing on Desolat with a remix from the label boss himself, Loco Dice.

Pete Tong world-premiered 2 of his latest tracks on Exploited Ghetto (Exploited Rec's sublabel) on BBC Radio 1 and directly got in touch to secure a remix for his label FFRR for the artist Icarus. His current track MOVEMENT OF WHALE on Diynamic is already one of the most hyped tracks in the net of 2015. His music has been supported by Solomun, Pete Tong, AME, Breach, Steve Lawler, Adriatique, Gardens Of God, Noir, Sasha, Riva Starr, Adana Twins, Greg Pidcock, Wildkats, Kaiser Disco, Sonny Fodera, Arthur Baker, Brothers Vibe, Reboot, Aki Bergen, Droog to mention a few. He has upcoming remixes on FFRR and Exploited for the Adana Twins as well as more original material in the pipeline.

Phil Weeks is a house music purist. Whether DJing or producing, the Parisian with the huge personality delivers raw beats influenced in equal measure by classic Chicago house and nu-school French flair, underpinned with a hip-hop attitude. His long running Robsoul Recordings also defines him as one of the most skilled label heads in underground house music.

In the studio Phil is dedicated to classic hardware like Akai’s MPC 3000 sampler and Roland’s TR909 drum machine. He has released more than 250 tracks and remixes since his debut in 2000, working with labels including 2020 Vision, Music For Freaks, Brique Rouge, Detour, and Adult Only. Phil’s work can also be found in the collaborations Fries & Bridges (with Hector Moralez) and PS Project/Bubba Beats & Kid Piston (with DJ Sneak).

Production highlights include Phil’s three albums ‘Love Affair’ (2011), ‘Yeah I Like That’ (2003) and ‘Raw Instrumental’ (2012). The music has been heavily supported by international dance press including achieving accolades such as MixMag’s and De-Bug’s ‘Album Of The Month’.

Behind the decks, Phil has racked up enough air miles to take him around the world several times over, with appearances at the world’s leading house clubs, alongside his Paris residency ‘Get Underground’ at the infamous Rex Club.

Consequently Robsoul is now one of the world’s most renowned and respected house music labels featuring some of the world’s best like Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Mark Farina, No Assembly Firm, M.in, DJ W!ld and Chris Carrier. This will be the official launch of Victor G & Alam's duo collaboration. Individually, both have been prominently active in the industry for many years, it is only until recently have they established their distinctive sound. This collaboration has been known to destroy dancefloors across town, all of which received highly positive feedback. This Series#10, do check out the duo showcase an exclusive extended set from the start of the night, right until closing. Ohrwurm's Kenny Substance will warmup the night with some selective grooves.

Osunlade is an artist who personifies art. His music as well as his being creates unified melodies manifested with balance, life and wisdom. Choosing to find spiritual solace and honor his soul, he was led to Ifa, an ancestral based culture/religion based on nature, deriving from the Yoruba tribes of Africa and practiced by the slaves during the Diaspora to America. In 1999, Osunlade would embark on what is now his dream come true. The founding of Yoruba Records. Recognized as one of the most important dance music labels worldwide, Yoruba Records is purely a source of music created to elevate the soul.

For over 6 years now Dosem has been dropping big room house and techno bombs on labels such as Suara, Carl Cox’s Intec Recordings, Tronic, Bedrock, Break New Soil and more. With a mix of futuristic techno and soulful house approach to his productions, he definitely gives a unique sheen that he can call his own. Releases such as his Suara EP ‘Streetout’ and his remix for Hot Since 82’s “Planes & Trains” demonstrate this characteristic further and have garnered him wide support across the electronic spectrum from DJs such as Sasha, Carl Cox, John Digweed, Joris Voorn and Laurent Garnier.

The trajectory behind Dosem’s exponential rise first occurred when he signed to Technasia’s label Sino in 2008 with his eloquently carved club hit ‘Silent Drop’ (2009). From here his profile flourished and following a re-release of the already cosmic classic ‘Beach Kisses’ on Joris Voorn’s Green label, he soon had material on imprints like Bedrock and Suara. However, the true marker to Dosem’s potential came in 2011 when he unveiled, to critical acclaim, his debut album ‘Parallel’. It all started back in March 2010, and till today, we are still keeping the scene alive with artists from across the spectrum of electronic music, John Digweed, Danny Howells, Ellen Allien, Radio Slave, Yousef, Christian Varela, Ian Pooley, Guy J, and Live sets from the likes of Guti, Amirali, KiNK, our Ohrwurm Series local heroes. We are looking for a Full-Time Producer for a new Recording Studio, located in Petaling Jaya.

Job Description:
To assist the Executive Producer on all jobs/projects.
Not as in 'music producer' or 'record producer', but as in 'coordinating the physical, creative, financial processes to ensure the project is successfully completed'.

Project management of current work in progress.
Liaise with clients.
Manage composers workload and schedule.
Supply quotes to clients.
Book third party suppliers (vocalists, musicians, etc).
Occasional evening attendance at networking/industry events.
Apple Mac based working environment.
Please be aware this is not a role for someone who is looking to become a composer.

Desired Skills & Experience:
3-4 years experience in a local Audio Production facility.
Knowledge of advertising industry would be beneficial.
Active interest in music essential.
Previous experience with audio editing softwares (ProTools, Logic, etc) useful but not essential.
Candidate must be confident and have good communication/social skills.
Candidate must have good organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
