Change car remote or buy new alarm set?

Hi guys,

So my Hyundai Atos car remote is getting very dodgy. Sometimes press also cannot lock/unlock the car. Changed the battery also same problem so Im suspecting it is gonna die on me soon.

I went to a few locksmiths they quoted me RM150~RM180 to change the remote. But I also noticed for that amount you can buy a whole new set of alarm which also comes with new remotes.

Should I use back my original OEM alarm and duplicate the remote? Or should I buy a new alarm set?
Do advise!

Its called Claratyne-D (with decongestant)
It works on a time release for 12 hours. Dries up ur watery nose as well as teary eyes within minutes!
Best of all... its non drowsy!! Hell yeah~

Hi guys, I think you experts will know better than me.

Recently when I sent my car for service the diagnostic machine said battery low. On the printout, the level looks like got only 30% health bar left.

I am thinking of buying a new battery.. but last time I learnt that you can ask the car tyre shop guy to charge ur battery for you for very little $$. So what is the difference between these 2 methods? Is there a limitation as to how many times we can charge it or smtg?

I tried googling this but I couldn't find a confirm answer.

If lets say I have a property that I pledge to the bank to get a business loan, then lets say my business failed and I am declared a bankrupt... so obviously the bank will take over the property I pledged.. And lets say after that the bank sold the property and made profit, am I still liable to pay the property gain tax since the bank already took it away from me and anyway I didn't even get to see a single cent of that "profit" ?

I need help from any taxation experts here...

I know, its my fault for trusting him because anyway paypal sale on LYN is already banned but I really need funds urgently. Oh well. So basically I've PM-ed him and I called him (no answer) so I'm going straight to the police.

Funny thing about this guy. He wanna con me for RM320 but he is such a rookie. I have all his details about him. I wonder where is he going to run?

Actually the bonus is declared after the company has done well for the year and the stakeholders decide to share the profit to the staff to recognize their hard work and also actually one of its core purpose is to make their staff happy so they can keep them. Oddly though I hear a lot of people saying things like "Oh I plan to leave the company, better wait for the bonus then tender my resignation". Somehow I don't hear people say "Aiya, actually I wanted to leave but then they gave me a bonus... maybe I should stay"

What is your take on this? Bonus = gives people a reason to leave? or stay?

Where to topup Touch'N'Go without 50¢ surcharge?

I wanna ask, where can I top up my Touch'N'Go without having to pay the 50cents surcharge BESIDES the tambah nilai tol and Touch'N'Go office?

Last time Maybank ATM can topup without surcharge but now it charges. And also for petrol stations they also charge.

It says there anyone caught doing free bumps will be given 3 days suspension? I don't see why is it an offence to give feedback to good sellers. If lets say I bought an item from someone before and the service I got was good, I would like to give a +rep to him. But how to do so if we cannot post a free bump?

My neighbours just moved in and I find them really strange. Firstly, they don't want to hire a contractor to renovate their house so they do it on their own. Thats fine but they have this habit of waiting till 10pm~2am (yes thats right, in the middle of the night) then only they start their drilling and hammering... I mean WTF you have the whole day to do it why start doing it only now?!?!

I want to know your opinion from those working (be it for fresh grad or veterans to have been working for years)... what is it that is most important to you?

1) Happy & Comfortable work environment
- having a nice office workplace
- having nice colleagues that you can work with
- less stressful environment
- understanding boss
- etc

2) Interesting & Exciting Job Scope
- your job is different from others
- its based on your interest/passion
- everyday its a different thing like maybe you work in a production house or you're an airplane pilot or maybe you work in the army
- basically you can never get bored of your job even though it may not be easy

3) Higher Salary
- basically money is the most important aspect for you
- you don't mind to work in a boring/redundant job as long it pays well

I know of course when it comes to work, money is indeed important. But what are your views about this? Is your QOL (Quality of Life) more important because working takes 8 hours of your daily life. Or is it that money is more important because you can use it to enjoy life after working hours (e.g. at night or maybe during weekends)

Touch Screen VS Keypad (Handphone)

Its quite interesting to see that handphones are getting more and more advanced and now we have this new type of phone we call the 'next gen' phones such as the iPhone, Omnia, Viewty, Nokia 5800, X1, Idou... etc

So they have this thing called the touch screen? But really, is that what we truly need? Sure its cool to show your friends that hey you have a phone that "doesn't" have a keypad. But does it benefit you as a user?

I mean I know we're not supposed to be sms-ing while driving but hey I still do. And I was thinking, will I still be able to do the same thing when I buy a touch screen phone? Or better still, will all phones turn touch screen?

What do you guys think?

I am looking for the blueprint of the Proton Gen 2. I have tried downloading the brochure but there is no blueprint in it. I was wondering those of you who are working with Proton, whether in the factory or doing sales, do you guys have access to an accurate blueprint of the Proton Gen2. I need it to built a 3D model for my final year project. So far I've tried all the blueprint on the internet, they are all not accurate and most of them are incomplete.

Please help me if you can. I really am desperate right now.
