Acid reflux/Barrett esophagus

Hi guys,

My mom has been diagnosed with Barrett esophagus recently after initially diagnosed with acid reflux, anxiety, esophagitis grade c and mild chronix gastritis.
She got trouble sleeping every day for about 4 months and almost no deep sleep till today due to acid in her throat or sometimes feeling drown till awake and would have trouble sleeping back. Most sleep she gotten so far would be just 4 hrs more or less.
She met with many doctors and one psychiatrist already and took western and chinese medicine like probiotics, PPI, antacids, sleeping pills, melatonin, redox water (stopped coz suffer more like vomitting), etc to help with the sleep but to no avail.

She has been monitoring her diet and following recommended lifestyle but still not improving and lost a lot of weight. Now she is feeling depressed and always worried each night whether she would be able to sleep well. She will be asking for second opinion from specialist and will be doing some CT scan for kidney cyst soon.

I was actually hoping the doctors would be help but no improvement of sleep after 2 months and all they say was due to anxiety but i think it's a just vicious cycle between lack sleep and anxiety.

I hope some /k members able to advise speaking from experience. I am feeling helpless

water pipe leaking

is an old condo and contractor discovered got pipe leaking above master bedroom. The old pipe is GI. Thought of redoing all pipes for peace of mind.
Anyone can give suggestion on the pipe types, etc? Im using instant water heater

property havent launch already booked and even snatched by alot of ppl, agents even claim 80% sold -- malaysians banyak kaya
which also somehow makes me think means 20% leftover are not favourable due to feng shui/4th floor/scenery/etc. you know something like beggar eating your leftovers

ps: fren bought property from developer, now finished and need to pay installment without staying in because paying rental at overseas. investor wannabe. reluctant to rent out due to hearsay of bad tenants

early retirement life

Let say u retire at the age of 35 or maybe 40, u go travel + doing some hobby and then realizing others are busy with their lives....so what's the fun especially daily life?
Even if you are rich/poor and have passive income, what u wanna do if get to live till 60-80? That's life 20 to 35 years of retirement life.

Point of this topic is, don't retire just because u can (rich/lots of money/passive income) but rather what kind of life u wanna live after retired.
