Apartment or hostel?

hello, I'm heading to Sunway for my A levels in March,
is it better for me to stay at the hostel or should i rent an apartment?

A-Levels intake in January or March?

I am currently planning to apply for A levels at Sunway and plan to go for march intake,
but recently have seen many people advising to go for January intake. Any thoughts and opinions
on this? Is there really such a big difference? and also if i want to change my mind will there be
enough time for me to apply for Jan intake?

Rig for GAMING/ENGINEERING

As the title above, I am planning to build a new rig soon.
It will be used mainly for gaming and for my further studies (plan to take mechanical engineering)
It will also be used for occasional video rendering and music editing

Build can be either mATX or ATX

Can any sifus give their advice and tips and share their builds for my new rig? Am not very good with computers but I will try my best

unfortunately im still using astro in my house
so i was watching the knicks vs raptors (NBA) game
and i realized there was another match going on but it wasn't aired

the amount of ads is also too damn high

are you guys using cable TV ?

GPU : GTX 765M
CPU : i7-4700MQ @ 2.40 GHz
RAM : 16GB
OS : Win 8.1 Pro

is this counted as mid-high end specs?
It should be at least good enough to maintain 50fps just like the first time i used my lappy

After 1 year of usage my FPS just started to decrease and now its a constant 20fps
(beginning 60fps, when creep comes out it decreases)

i tried all the autoexec.cfg, still the same.

is it hardware problem? any help is appreciated

Shoulder Rig VS Steadicam

not really run and gun type
although using prime lenses is recommended,
if i were to use 18-135mm lenses on a canon 60D,
should i use a shoulder rig or a steadicam??

if i were to buy a steadicam i would get a Flycam Flyboy III (Rm229)

almost everytime i play a game, i'll disconnect and have NO internet connection for around 5 minutes
then the internet connection comes back, and this happens a couple of times every game.
very annoying
anyone have a solution?

streamyx 4mbps line
no one is streaming vids/download

btw, only happens when i play dota2, if im using fb or google
doesnt dc from internet
