Starting a relationship is not so easy after all

My gf and I has just been together very recently after knowing and courting her for almost 8 months
Both of us are in our mid 20's and we're working in the same profession.
She is my 1st love and so am I to her. Both of us are from the same hometown.

She comes from a good family with a strict upbringing while I come from a rather broken family.

Since she became my gf there has been some issues for both of us, or rather my gf.

First of all, she had never expected herself to be involved in a relationship. You see, she has an independent personality and she does not open up easily to people. When she agreed to be my gf, she told me not to expect too much from her and wanted me to keep this relationship a secret from everyone. I agreed nonetheless coz I thought better to keep it to ourselves in the initial stages.

I didn't really do anything to her other than just hugging her,cuddling her, holding her hands and kissing her sometimes. She's been saying that I progressed too fast into this relationship. She rarely returns my touch and only kissed me back 2-3 times so far. In other words, she's very passive when I'm "touching" her. I was not really upset about it since I thought this was just the beginning of a relationship; maybe she would open up to me sooner

She is also worried of what people would think if they found out that we were together - how they would interfere, comment, badmouth us and etc etc. She told me that her parents might not be very happy with me and so does my mother to her. This was slightly true to an extent. My mother knows about her and does not really like her as she dislikes her family members. I didn't let my mother know about our relationship yet.

Before we were together, we were always chatting on the phone, going out for meals, movies, consoling each other when we were down and etc. Now I sensed some occasional awkwardness since we were together.

There has been other small issues here and there - that I might change for her but not to expect her to change for me; she said I always generalize things; that I'm pressuring her by buying a gift for her and so on. There was no real argument between us though; just a mentioning of the above issues.

So my dear forummers, what do you think I should do about this? I am really at a loss. I need some advice. Thank you.

Yo /k/, nothing serious actually, when my friend asked me out for a dinner, I said my housemate ta pao for me. Actually I was having dinner with someone else lol.

As per title, I know there is no problem buying books from Amazon....but how bout steering lock? Thinking of buying Metro Stoplock Pro from Amazon coz it is much cheaper and hard to find in Malaysia.

I found that other steering lock not so gooding coz easily cut while this one more keng but of course still vulnerable

My new Panasonic LCD TV's speaker was not up to my satisfaction. I'm not planning to set up a home theatre system, so do you guys think attaching a 2.1 speaker to the TV is a good idea?

I'm planning to buy a new video player for my new LCD TV...I want aplayer that can support:

a)RMVB format
b)subtitles e.g. in .srt format (preferably can load together with the RMVB file)
c)DVD
d)HDMI output
e)USB input
f)Divx, MP4, etc etc

Any players that have such specs? Thanks a lot!

Help, 3G Icon did not appear on top of my TD2

Hi all, I've just bought a TD2 not long ago. I've downloaded all the settings from Maxis website. Previously I'm already using a 3G phone. The problem with my TD2 is only the E icon appears, not 3G.

When I try making a video call, the following appears: "The 3G network is not available. Do you want to make a voice call instead?"

How do I get 3G on this TD2? Thanks a lot guys

[WTA] New astro decoder and ancient TV

Hi guys, need your help here. The story's like this.

I'm using a 25 year old TV which only has aerial socket and no RCA sockets. The TV works perfectly with my old NOKIA astro decoder until one day the decoder exploded.

Then I got myself the latest Astro decoder (little black box) by Thomson and realized that the new decoder only has RCA output unlike my old decoder which had both RCA and RF output.

My question is, is there any RCA to aerial converter? If there is, any converter will do? Or I'll have get the converter designed just for ASTRO decoders?
