Hi Guys

Recently my PC keeps crashing whenever I launch Dota 2 (Blackscreen sometimes)

with the following error.

CUtlMemoryArena::CUtl Memory Arena():
CUtlMemoryArena::CUtl Memory Arena unable to allocate 134217728 bytes

Relevant PC Spec is as follows:
Intel i5-7400
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 6GB
8GB RAM

Looking for a solid 2.4/5ghz wifi adapter

Hi Guys

Would appreciate if you could recommend a good wifi adapter for my desktop.

- My router at home is at the 1st floor while the desktop Im using is on the 2nd.
- Currently using TM's TP-LINK Archer C1200 router. 1200 Mbps Wifi, offering 2.4ghz (300mbps) and 5ghz (867mbps)
- Currently using TP-LINK WN821N and only able to connect to the 2.4 WIFI and its causing instability and spikes to my streaming and gaming.
- Budget <RM200, do not mind paying extra if its a quality product

Currently using TP-LINK Archer c1200 (Unifi Compatible) which has dual wifi bandwidth of 2.4 and 5Ghz. My desktop cant seem to detect the 5Ghz connection however my other devices at home does not have the problem.

Does my PC driver have 5Ghz capability?

Radio types supported: 802.11 n/b/g

If it does not, is there a way for an upgrade?

ASUS RT-N12HP_B1 unable have to 30mb Unifi speed

I've upgraded my Unifi speed from 10mbs to 30 mbs recently, however my speedtest still shows the result of 10mbs. Reported this to TM, they came and test it with their own default TM router and it works fine, speedtest was 30mb. They mentioned its my ASUS router problem. Would like ask is there a problem with my setting on my ASUS router or do I have really have to send it back to ASUS center to fix?

Hello guys, i just got my new router ASUS RT-N12HP, the ones with very long antennas. I am disappointed as the router is so bad even after reading all the good reviews online. The wifi is slow, even connected with cable its also very slow. Im currently using unifi 10mbps.

Compared with the default unifi router, the default router performs better.

so i would like to ask all you sifus
is there anything i could twerk to improve my asus router, theres no way a highly recommended router performs poorer than TM's defaults router. and i just bought it today

Hey guys i want to replace my default tm router for unifi as i dont get coverage for my room which is at the back at the second floor while the router is at the living room downstair.

Sometimes when i play dota, my ping would jump to 3000 for no reason, theres no one else loading, im the only one using.
Internet will be not usable as well, sometimes showing limited connectivity.
restarting the modem would not help as well, just have to wait for a very long time for it to be over.

Using everything TM provided me, my modem is grey in color, not the orange one.

is it because im using wireless? will a wired connection fix my problem? or modem settings?

Hi guys, i just got a new graphic card from my warranty as my previous graphic card has problems

i've noticed that this new graphic card that they sent me increases its temperature easily.

for example: my previous same model graphic card was running 60-65 temperature for my game. today after getting the new one, it has a higher temperature which is 70-75 celcius on the same game, same settings

does anyone know the reason to it?

i've just cleaned my comp by myself today.

Hi, i have a problem on my UNIFI where its so bad.

im having lagging problems whenever my family uses the internet on their mobile phone. (normally iphone 5s), but computer is fine

for example my ping in dota would increase to 1-2k even though theres no one downloading while my family is only browsing facebook through their mobile phones.

Theres a total of 3 user. 10mbps UNIFI

i wonder if i would call TM, would they have done anything about it?

or having a better router would fix the problem.

Hangs and Restarts after opening dota 2

Hi guys

All the time dota 2 runs smoothly for me with 120fps, but today when i on dota 2 and went in game it hangs and monitor screens turns weird and PC restarts.

everything seems fine. Temp seems fine.

Anyone knows whats the problem? should i check it?

Intel Core i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz
4GB RAM

TWITCH.TV LAGS ON 10MBPS UNIFI

I have a 10mbps unifi, connecting it on wireless. signal is good. but i still cant stream medium on twitch.tv, it lags for me. anyone knows how to solve it? My friends with 4mbps streams smoothly on medium quality, i wonder why does my 10mbps is still having lagging issues while streaming on twitch.tv

Am i the only one lagging on twitch.tv ? when im watching streams even though its only on medium quality? i'm currently on UNIFI 5MB. it works fine last time, but recently the lag is getting worst.

Sudden increase in GPU temperature

my comp was fine ytd, but today i found out that my fans are very noisy today caused by the increase in RPM my fans.

and i realized my GPU temp increases by 10 Celsius more compared to yesterday,

so i cleaned it with my vacuum and still have the same problem,

im just playing dota 2, not really a high graphic game

my previous temp was 60 C

now its 70 C.

soooo what do i do?

is there a cleaning service available anywhere?
