Aircond

I was just wondering, my car is already 5 years old and I have not send my car for any aircond service before...so far my aircond is working normal and there is cold air (touch wood)... is it necessary to send it for service now?

I check with a mechanic and he advice me not to service the aircond now as it will be worst (maybe will rosak after service and need to replace the condensor). He just advice me to service/repair it when the aircond mul-function on a latter time.

I know servicing/repairing car aircond is not a cheap affair which can cost from RM50 to RM1000. Any advice for this area?

Upgrading to 17' rims and tyres

Hi,

I'm thinking of upgrading my ride from 15' to 17' rims soon. However it is known by doing so will create higher fuel comsumption and a more bumpy ride on my car.

But do we really need to change the car suspension and absorber to accomodate the bigger rims? Is the current suspension and absorber able to accomodate the 17 inch rims? I know if I go the tyre shop, the staff will sure recommend me to change the suspension but would really want to seek advice in LYN before upgrading my stock 15 inch rims.

Cheers!
