Me and my sister bought a RM60 charger last Tuesday and it exploded during changing her HTC desire c with i just gave by brother in law. Luckily my sis didnt fall asleep that time and manage to put out the fire before it got big.
Now the phone couldnt turn on already

I took the charger and the phone to the shop, to ask him settle it for me. I ask talk nicely to the shop owner to have my phone repaired or compensate me. The shop owner said he will ask the supplier about it. so i give him the charger for him to argue with supplier hoping that the supplier will insaf and compensate me somehow.

Until today the shop owner didnt call up, so i call him to argue with him. I did scold him and tell him to go ask the supplier compensate me since i lose the phone. But just now the shop owner said the supplier reply him... coz i buy shitty cheap stuff, he only compensate a stupid charger (not sure will exploded again or not ) and he will not compensate me more than that charger.

so, i'm here to ask /k for advice ... can i go make complaint about this supplier or shop? since i only have picture and no exploded charger. if yes. where should i complaint this matter ? My sis had been using nokia 6810 for decade liao.. it's a very very sad experience for her which go a smartphone only lasted for a day due to the freaking charger ... Please give advice what should i do...

Danone Dumex recalls infant formulas in Malaysia

Hot on the heels of the New Zealand health scare, a dairy company has issued a recall on some of its infant formulas in Malaysia. The products are Dumex Dupro, Mamex Cherish, Mamex Explore and Bebelac.

They were recalled as a precautionary measure by Danone Dumex (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

“None of the products tested and sold in Malaysia indicate any contamination. However, given the new information supplied by Fonterra, we have taken the decision to make a precautionary recall on specific batches of products," it said.

Danone Dumex was told that one of the ingredients supplied by Fonterra had a potential quality issue, it said in a statement today.

This recall only affects batches noted below, sold in Malaysia. It doesn’t include other batches of the same products or other Danone Dumex products.

The products being recalled are Dumex Dupro Step 2 with batch numbers 04263B2, 04273B2, 05033B2, 05093B2, 05153B2, 05223B2, 05233B2, 05143T1, 05153B1, 04263B1, 04273B1, 04273B2, 05033B1, 05033B2, 05093B1, 05093B2, 05153B1, 05153B2, 05223B1, 05223B2 and 05233B1; Mamex Cherish Step 1 with batch numbers 06103T1, 06213B1, 06213B2, 06053R1, 06123R1, 06093T1 and 06213B1; Mamex Explore Step 2 with batch numbers 06093T1, 06123R1, 06213B1 and 06213B2; and Bebelac Step 2 with batch numbers 05023R1 and 05033R1.

Those who have these products should call 1800-38-1038.

"Consumers should not feed products with these batch numbers to infants. If you have been using these products to feed your infant and your child shows any sign of illness, please contact your health care professional as a precautionary measure," it said.

"If you have recently purchased any products with the batch numbers detailed above, please return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.”

Yesterday, the New Zealand authorities had issued a warning on whey protein concentrate (WPC) products manufactured by Fonterra as they were suspected to be tainted with cancer-causing bacteria.

WPC is in infant formula, milk powder and sports drinks. It was reported these products are exported from New Zealand to several countries, including Malaysia. – Bernama, August 4, 2013.

A powerful earthquake has killed more than 150 people and injured several thousand in China's rural south west, officials say.

The 6.6-magnitude tremor sent people fleeing from buildings across Sichuan province, which was devastated by a massive quake five years ago.

Villages close to the epicentre in Lushan county were left in ruins.

Thousands of troops have been sent to Sichuan, and Premier Li Keqiang is also travelling to the area.

"The current most urgent issue is grasping the first 24 hours since the quake's occurrence, the golden time for saving lives," Mr Li was quoted as saying by state news agency Xinhua.

Rescuers have been able to pull some bodies and survivors from the rubble of devastated villages.

But recovery efforts have been hampered by aftershocks and landslides.

Power and water supplies have been knocked out in Lushan county, and some roads are impassable.

'Everything collapsed'

The quake struck at 08:02 local time (00:02 GMT), with the China Earthquake Administration categorising it as a 7.0-magnitude and the US Geological Survey (USGS) reporting it as 6.6.

Its epicentre was 115km (70 miles) west of provincial capital Chengdu, according to the USGS.

A square outside the Lushan county hospital has been turned into a triage centre, with dozens of people being treated in tents.

State broadcaster CCTV showed images of bloodied people being treated in tents in Lushan.

One injured man told the channel: "We still live in our old house, the new one is not ready yet. Our house just collapsed. Everything collapsed."

The quake was measured at 12km below the surface, a shallow depth that usually indicates extensive damage.

People in Chengdu felt the tremor and came running into the streets wrapped in blankets.

Chengdu resident Aaron Ozment told the BBC there was huge confusion in the city.

"I threw on a some clothes quickly and made my way into the courtyard of my complex," he said.

"Making calls was almost impossible; everybody was trying to contact everybody they knew."

Residents in the nearest city to the epicentre, Ya'an, felt jolts from the quake and aftershocks, but the city does not appear to have suffered major damage.

Xinhua reported that more than 6,000 soldiers had been dispatched to help with rescue efforts.

Aircraft had begun flying over the area to assess the damage and deliver supplies.

Five years ago a massive quake hit Sichuan, killing tens of thousands.

The 2008 disaster left some five million people homeless.

Many of the collapsed buildings were schools and nurseries, leading to widespread criticism of local government's planning policies.

Should i sent my laptop to Asus Service Center ?

As per title, i had just realize that my asus n53sn graphic card's fan had stop working recently. I would like to sent it to the asus service center at lowyat plaza, but after i browse through the forum... i had overcome lots of complaint and bad review from the forumer about the service center. So, i would like to ask fellow forumer for so advice, should i sent my laptop to service center or i disassemble the laptop myself to check whether is there any thing that block the fan from working. Any suggestion on which Asus Service center in Malaysia that provides better service?
