Dell Dimension e520 PSU Upgrade

Hi all,

Would need some advice on upgrading the psu of Dell e520. Firstly, would an off the shelf PSU fits into the mounting of Dell e520 casing? Other than that, is there any special plug to mobo that's required for e520 series? Has anyone around here done upgrade to this model in specific? Would like to hear some comments out Main reason is to upgrade display card as well as to bump up the power ratings a bit.

--kcy43ccwc

Advice on VGA Card Upgrade

Greetings all,

I'm looking at getting the 9600GT but I would like some advice on the power consumed by my pc. I'm using Dell dimension e520 and I heard the psu is generating somewhere around 300-305w. Current, things to take note is I have 2 hdd and now running on 7600GS. I believe 9600GT needs an addition 6pin but the main question is will my current machine power sufficient for the card? If not what can I do to pump in more power, as u guys should have known, Dell's psu has specific mounting position hence custom psu like coolermaster, thermaltake and all those can't fit in unless u start drilling holes behind. Looking forward for some advice on this! Thanks!

Advice on O2 Xda II

Greetings all,

I just manage to get hold of an Xda 2 lately. Generally, the system run's fine, even has GPS software embed. The problem is that the cover is quite worn out. The on/off switch is not functioning due to lost contact between button and switch inside. So I was just wondering where can I get a casing for it? According to one of the resellers, he advice me to go to the official service centre somewhere at low yat, however, charges there will be sky high as usual. So is there any other way of replacing the casing? How much would it cost?

--kcy43ccwc
