Approximate the value of PI

Hi guys. I'm pretty new to C program. I've been given this assignment to write a program that asks the user thow many terms of the serires equation to use in approximating PI. The formula given is pi=4X(1- 1/3 + 1/5 - 1/7 + 1/9 - 1/11 + 1/13 - ....)

Here is the script that I've written but I'm stuck. Please advice. My alogarithm might be wrong

Hey there. I've this problem while using Dev C++, that the command prompt window keep closing after displaying the results, thus making it impossible for me to read the results. Is there any way to halt or freeze the command prompt? I'm using windows vista.

Is there anyone out there using emu 0404 USB? i was wondering is it worth it if I were to use this SC solely as a standalone DAC? Or is there any other better option (DAC)?

How do you guys train your ears to recognize what sounds good? Some people are gifted. I m happy to say i am a lil gifted in listening but i want more than what i have now. Is there anyway to train my ears to a next level?

Hi all. I do know preamp is for eq purposes. To get the best out of headphone. Is it a must to connect a preamp to a headphone amplifier n to a headphone? Or just connect headphone to headphone amp? Kinda confuse between preamp and amp.
