** COO stamp is a must if you entering from Rantau Panjang, Kelantan. Other borders might don't really will check for the stamp.

Hey guys,

Not sure if this is the right place to talk about.

**If you not really sure about the MYEG PATI process, you might not know what I talking about.

I would like to ask around regarding MYEG they process the ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT REHIRING PROGRAMME (PATI in Malay).

From the last time 2016 my company has file in some foreign worker for the rehiring program, I did the last final payment for special pass to generate the permit sticker on April 2018, but until now still haven get call to collect.

I still have 3 more batch on 2017, 1 is waiting to submit passport for the sticker(before this still need to wait for their next call to pay the special pass(SP) ), the other 2 batch is currently waiting for the profiles checking, their officer ask us to come back on September 2018 to check again while i submit my profile at June 2018 and July 2018.

I not sure this is normal for MYEG practice. But this is too long d in before our BN govn hire 3rd party to settle all these issue.

Does any reader here has any idea or guide me about what should I do for all these stupid issue that makes all the process stuck

Process on Scraping old car

Greeting to every forumer ,

On the past few years, there is alot of news regarding abandoned cars that park nearby our resident area or any other shop lot especially at Kuala Lumpur area, but in my area that just neighbor of KL, Kajang also having this issue, and by time to time, people that having old cars with unable or expensive to fix, they will just throw their car at any place that "suitable for them to dispose"

In my case, I have an old car that I trying to sell on mudah.my just to get rid from the old car due to unable to fix. But sooner I found out that selling an old car that give problem to public is an unethical way. So i go through another legal way to get rid of my old car. Which is scrap car.

I google search around the internet, and found out 1 of the recycle industry (Thanam Industry) respond on my request, they ask me either I want to cancel the license of the old car with JPJ or surrender to them (maybe they help u to cancel it from JPJ?). But I choose to did every process by myself.

I went to JPJ and told them I want to scrap, they prepare some form and ask me to prepare all the document and come back again.

All the document are list here. (**Note that my current old car is still legal on drive on the road with valid road tax)

-1.1 Photocopy IC Owner
-1.2 Photocopy Of Owner Bank Statement

If you get all the document ready, visit to your nearest JPJ Branch and tell the information counter that you want to scrap your car, they usually will give you a number to do Cancellation of Road Tax first, after that you will need to see one of their officer, you can ask from the counter that serve you who to meet.

**If you wish to extract back the car plate from the old car, please tell the officer you like to do so. From what I know, they will cost you another RM210 for the car plate extraction. Valid for 3 months from the date of extraction.

All the process can be done in 30 minutes.

When your cancellation of vehicle is success and complete you will receive a letter like this :

After that, I went to Thanam Industry Office to arrange with the scrapping agreement with them.
You can also give them a call, but that time I'm using e-mail to communicate with them.
They will also provide a letter to prove all the process and the payment. And they had provide car towing to tow the car you want to scrap, just let them know the location of the car.

That's all I want to share, hope it helps to other people that wanted to do the car scrapping process in the future.

Yamaha FZ150i potential issue

Hello every bikers here especially you having 2015 FZ150i

I would like to report an issue what is happen to my FZ150 while HongLeong Yamaha trying to ignore my complaint although I e-mail them.

On 8/6/18, while I riding my bike on my way back home, I cross over an uneven road. Then suddenly my bike center frame broke off and the rear body has fall of and pressing the rear wheel to make my bike unable to cruise. Because of this incident I almost lost my life. I have attach a photo where my bike broke down, I had call for a towing service to tow my bike back to the service center I always visit.

The foreman that work there told me that one of the screw has fallen by the time I ride, but I did not do any modification on my current bike before and I don't always ride this bike, so impossible the screw is tampered by other people.

So, what's your thought ?
Is that really my problem or is a manufacture fault?

Hello every LYN forumers ,

I try to make everything short for the incident.

10th June 2018(Sunday),
Driving on the way at Wangsa Maju near Aeon Wangsa Maju, suddenly got a van overtake on the left lane and leave damages on my car.

[I have dashcam video footage to prove]

During that time is traffic jam, I able to run down from the car and chase that guys and ask the driver to stop aside for the accident, but the driver refuse and run away.

After 1 hours, I made a police report with the video footage and provided with the car plate number.
PIC(Police Sergeant) told me that maybe that van did not renew their road tax and insurance.

1st July 2018 (Sunday),

Meet the PIC (Police Sergeant), he told me that the driver did not make police report.
But the sergeant generate a result report for me to claim insurance.
The report letter mention that the driver can be charge on (whatever law, not sure d), and it did mention the driver did not make report.

2nd July 2018 (Monday),

My insurance told me that the result report did not mention is the driver fault, I can only claim on my own insurance.
My insurance ask me to look for the PIC and change the result report and mention is on the driver fault.

4th July 2018 (Wednesday),

I went to Proton Body and Paint Center ask for more details by bringing all those document for a confirmation if I can claim third party even without 3rd party lodge a police report.
Advisory also from RHB insurance, he told me is possible to claim. He also help me to dig out that convict details and let me know that the insurance is from Zurich, this also means that the car plate is not a fake. Proton advisor ask me go to JPJ buy the details of the convict. But I think this is not the important thing, I should leave this for my insurance agent.
And then I visit on of the body and paint shop nearby my place and ask the same thing, they told me can try to claim it but not confirm that it will be 100% able to claim.

6th July 2018 (Friday),

I call back to my insurance agent today to ask again what is the real issue.
He told me the main problem is 3rd party did not make police report, even I submit claim surely end up will claim back my own insurance and NCD will turn back to 0%.

19th July 2018 (Thursday),

I went to police station to meet the PIC to amend the details, but he told me that the details is generate by software and he cannot do amend on the result letter. And he advise me to ask my insurance to hire their lawyer to deal with convict insurance for the claim.

23rd July 2018 (Monday),

I update my Insurance agent about police did not amend the result. And the I told them what police advise me to do. Insurance ask me to e-mail all the prove I have and police report+result to them to forward for their supervisor to review.

25th July 2018 (Wednesday),

My Insurance call back and update me that they allow me to proceed claim (OD-KFK) without losing my NCD after they review my video footage and police report.

30th July 2018 (Monday),

I went to JPJ and purchase the 3rd party details and found out that the insurance and road tax of the convict is still valid.
** You will need the photocopy of police report and photocopy of IC to apply details purchase. RM10 per transaction.

1st August 2018 (Wednesday),
I visit one of my insurance panel workshop and ask for the details about what document they need and how long they wants to repair my car.
And due to the car is driven by P license driver, I need to fork out RM400 for the excess fees. And my insurance ask me to think nicely because if the 3rd party does not want to agree with the claim then my RM400 will burn.

7th August 2018 (Tuesday),
Finally I figure it out that I should give a call to 3rd party insurance for the inquires since I had all the details that get from JPJ last week. I call to their customer service(CS) and ask for a solution. Their CS ask me to send all the document I having now to prove and soon they will contact their insured(the convict) to confirm about all these incident.
** I should done this earlier after I make a police report and collect data from JPJ, this is the most fastest way to reach the convict in the safe way if the police Sargent didnt really do his work.

9th August 2018 (Thursday),
I need a prove that I had repair my car with insurance panel workshop, so I need to proceed with my vehicle repair.
Today send my car to panel workshop for the damage repair. Roughly need 3 days workmanship.

13th August 2018 (Monday),
Collect my car today with every details check on my car (This panel workshop is not very familiar, should check everything before sign the paper).
After that sign the insurance offer letter for the Repair. Panel workshop ask me if I want to send the document to the 3rd party insurance office myself, and I agree to send all the document myself.

15th August 2018 (Wednesday),
I send all the relevant document to the 3rd party Insurance office (Zurich, Menara Zurich, Jalan Dewan Bahasa).
Their representative(counter) has acknowledge that they have receive my document(and stamp at chop on my Letter of claim), the representative inform me that allow 1 month period to process my claim, once they approve my claim, they will contact me again.

29th August 2018 (Wednesday),
I received a letter from 3rd Party Insurance ask me to provide a "Statutory Declaration (SD)". The letter is printed at 17th August 2018 and I receive it by post on 29th August 2018.

30th August 2018 (Thursday),
I personally prepare the declaration and send to Commission Of Oath to certify the Statutory Declaration (SD).
And after that, I send the original copy of SD to the insurance office by hand. The representative ask me to wait around 1 month for the process.

5th October 2018 (Friday),
I contact the related department and get some feedback for my claim.
Person In-Charge(PIC) told me that my claim has approved. They had post me some document since Sept2018 but I still not able to receive it. So PIC request my e-mail for speed up the application process. I fill up all the form and submit back to the PIC through e-mail.

12th October 2018 (Friday),
I receive the money (Excess Fess + Loss Of Use Fund) from Zurich Insurance.
All the claiming process is complete
