Thinking of purchasing a 3DS XL

Greetings fellow Nintendo Masters, I am currently thinking of purchasing a 3DS as my handheld device after some research by myself. There are some questions I would like to ask:

1. Is it worth the investment?
2. What upcoming or current games are hit? (Currently thinking of getting MH3U with the console, also awaiting Pokemon X/Y . Suggestions are welcome!)
3. Where can I get a decent deal? (Currently residing in Kota Damansara)

Currently these are the questions I have, if you have any more information about 3DS, feel free to post them here.

P.S: Please don't compare 3DS to PS Vita, I'm currently looking at 3DS without PS Vita in mind.

Hey all, this is my story...

I bought a Asus G53SX laptop from Penang, using it mainly for college works. After using for a a month or two, I faced a lot of problem with this laptop. First, whenever I opened Windows Explorer, it'll crash 80% of the time, leaving me very frustrated and am forced to find an alternative file explorer. After finishing up my finals, I bring back to shop, they say just use built in recover, cause OS problem, ok finem I recover not once, not twice but thrice just to get it work normally again. Thought everything went well after that, but it was just the beginning.

Second problem, display of laptop doesn't come up after a cold boot (it works sometime by just moving the screen up and down over and over again), sent to Asus Service Centre, they take my laptop 3 days, after that say display cable problem, they fixed it. But the same problem keeps occurring and am forced to keep sending it back to service centre. (This has been going on for a few months now) Right now I am in PJ as I have to attend my Internship so I figure I might as well sent it to the service centre in LYP, since the people in Penang says it's the HQ for Malaysia. Sent it there on the 4 of September, say required 3-5 days. 2 weeks later, no contact from them, called their hotline keep saying repair. I email to customer service and they reply need wait till October 1st for parts. Then last Wednesday I went down to LYP, hoping to collect my laptop as I checked on the website that it's status is repaired.

After waiting for my turn and presenting the receipt, I was asked to wait for 15 minutes, (next to me was a guy collecting is laptop too, they told him wait since delivering from another building) so I thought mine is same case. 15 minutes later, they guy came, collect and leave. I sat down confused, why wasn't I called too? Later, one of the workers(a guy) asked if I'm the owner of this Asus laptop, I said yes.

Here's what really get on my nerve.

Asus won't released my laptop as it need to be sent for more checking, reports to higher ups. He say Asus will be willing to exchange a new one for me, problem is it's gonna take 5 weeks. 5 weeks?! That's almost the end of my internship. I told him I urgently need it as I will be following company to another state for 1 week, without laptop, I can't do much. Making matters worse, I ask him during the 1 month period my laptop's been here, has there been any fixes? His reply? "No fixes". They say if want fast can exchange another model, Asus Zenbook. I was really pissed, I paid for that model, what is this?! Exchanging to another cheaper model for something I paid more for?(I didn't really look at the specs on this one). The guy then went into the office, after awhile, he came out, he said they are willing to loan me one laptop for the meantime, but it will be an entry level model. I try to negotiate and see if the specs can be slightly bump higher, he say can, in TWO(2) days, the management will call. Till now, I haven't gotten a single call from them and I'll be leaving tomorrow for the trip.

my classmate recently got an Alienware M14X laptop, all he does is brag bout how high end the specs are, everyday he'll show off his friggin' laptop and brag how Alienware is the best among other people's laptop... Knowing that the specs are so-so, i need something that can make him shut up(of course other people also understand, they not really tech friendly)... everyday always brag bout colour customization or what only Alienware can do....

My only comeback right now is that I have a PC, which cost less than what he pays but better in performance...

USB 3.0 not working

i have a Asus P8H67-M LE mobo and the usb 3.0 isn't working, i tried plugging in a few thumb drives and external hdd but nothing is detected, i tried installing the drivers but it is still the same...

P.S: its a mobo for brand new pc bought at LYP...

External Hard Disk Files become Shortcuts

I have a WD Element, it was working fine before, but after lending it to a friend, all the folders become shortcuts, the location of the files links to System32/CMD... But double clicking it still opens my files, what is going on? can anyone teach me how to solve this problem? thanks...
