how to differentiate ori car key casing?

hi ppl, just a quick one.

i bought a set of uncut car key that comes with the remote casing from proton for my satria neo. i had the key duplicated at this shop but they screwed it up. no longer usable. they are willing to replace it with a brand new uncut one one for me, for which they claimed is ori.

just to be sure, i want to know if they are replacing it with the ori casing (i think the key is fixed to the remote casing). so, how do i differentiate the ori from the compatibles? from visual, both looks the same to me.

of course, if the ori and compatible looks and functions the same, it should not bother me, but i paid for ori, so am not settling for compatible.

reusing door visor

one of my door visor fell out, i think its because of old age of the adhesive. i have cleaned out the adhesive from the car and the visor. now, for adhesive power, if i were to use those acrylic 3M tapes to stick it, how do i shape the tape to go along the visor?

my visor is curve from front to back. can those sticky tape be shaped according to the visor without cutting?

Personal loan vs credit card cost.

I have done some calculations, in comparing personal loan vs credit card. We often see advertistment such as "Personal loan as low as 8% to 10& per annum compared to credit card at 18% per annum. However, does personal loan really give you the benefit of a lower interest payment compared to credit card?

Please refer to my computation below:

Credit card
Principal: RM10,000
Monthly principal repayment: RM400 (add interest incurred to this amount)
Interest rate: 18% per annum / 1.5% monthly
Tenure to full settlement: 24 months
Credit card interest will be based on daily balances, but interest is compounded monthly.

Total interest payment at the end of 24 months: RM1,944
Effective interest rate at the end of 24 months: 19.44%

My computations (pasted 4 months only. I can send you the excel worksheet if interested):

Principle 10000 9600 9200 8800
Interest rate p.a. 1.50% 1.50% 1.50% 1.50%
Principle repayment 400 400 400 400
Interest payment 150 144 138 132
Total payment 550 544 538 532
Balance 9600 9200 8800 8400

Personal loan
Principal: RM10,000
Monthly repayment: RM513
Tenure to full settlement: 24 months
Personal loan is on a fixed payment, and you cannot pay more or less as and when you like.

Total interest payment at the end of 24 months: RM2,312
Effective interest rate at the end of 24 months: 23.12%

My conclusion: Personal loan may "looked" as if the interest rate is way lower than credit card, but in the end, it is the effective interest rates that matters.

Can I have some gurus to clarify my findings? The purpose of me doing this is for me to manage my financials better and I want to be clear that the above assumptions are true before I make any decisions.
