Normal battery for Q85 iStop battery

Is there any concern if we need to replace a Q85 EFB battery with a conventional battery which is much much cheaper?

Does this make any sense or we end up paying more due to potentially causing premature failure of the alternator?

We often hear a lot from car owners even without activate the iStop function (or similar kind) the Q85 EFB battery still no going to last longer than 2 years. Some of them need to replace the battery just about 12 months or so.

For the sake of discussion, I have attached both document so anyone can freely put up their opinion to further discuss the subject. If you are currently using a conventional battery for iStop what is your observation so far....
