Changing Built-In Wardrobe Design

Hi all, want to ask has anyone changed their built-in wardrobe design before? If so, how do you go about it?

Did you repaint over the existing "skin"? Or you removed the old skin and change new one? Would like to do it to a subsale house as removing the whole wardrobe and rebuilding new one seems like a waste.

Recommendations for "Dumb" TV

Hi all sifus, as per title, I'm looking for recommendations for TVs that are not connected to the internet and the thing is I'm not sure if they still make them.

My thinking was that I'm going to get a TV box and Apple TV anyway so the TV itself does not really need the smart functions, hopefully that would bring down the costs.

Looking for 58" / 60" / 65" size
4K TV
Budget under 2k

Can change stairs railing? Can remove built in?

Hi sifus, I am planning to buy subsale house maybe, but wanna ask a few questions.

1. Is it possible to change the stairs railing (completely remove old railing) without damaging or needing to remove the flooring on the stairs?

2. When I remove built in wardrobes, is it 100% chance my flooring will be damaged? So I have to either change all flooring or build another built in wardrobe to cover, yes?

Any advice is much appreciated.

Hi everyone, just having some trouble making a decision so would like to hear what sifus think and why?
Assuming I can afford monthly payment for both and have 110k cash.
*I don't know if this information changes anything, but I stay in KK right now.

- need downpayment (69k)
- everything else plan to change
- left 41k for reno

Pros
- HOC
- newer township (Rimbayu)
- newer design
- 10% downpayment rebated
- 100k can budget to pay off loan or reno

Cons
- very far inside
- extra jam distance if take kesas to work
- uncertainties since not built yet
- 5ft at the back need to extend
- expensive monthly at ~3k if not offset using the budget

would like to know if any other pros and cons that I need to consider? and which would you choose and why?

Hi sifus, just wondering if I backup my phone to iCloud (which I am using now) and then connect to iTunes and backup to my computer, will that delete the iCloud backup or will I still have both? Can't seem to find an answer by Googling.

Ikea MARKUS help?

As most forummers know, there is a very widely recommended chair called the Ikea MARKUS. I have done a fair bit of reading and research and ultimately decide to buy it, so please refrain from suggesting any other make and models. I just wanted hear some feedback to help decide if I should get the leather version or the fabric version from MARKUS owners.

Some info if it helps:
- I will usually be on the chair for the entire day (12 hours) on Saturdays and Sundays.
- No air-cond as my set up is in the living room, only one small standing fan (the old panasonic kind) pointing towards me.
- Will eat food regularly at this seat, have spilt stuff on previous chair. (this would point to leather but I'm not opposed to cleaning the chair regularly if fabric is easy to clean)

As per title, was just wondering about will writing in Malaysia. Totally have no knowledge in this area so would like to learn a thing or two such as:

Is it ever "too early" to write a will?
How much does it cost on average to write a will?
Is there a difference between writing your will with banks and writing your will with other companies like Rockwill?
What kind of assets can I assign in my will?
For those that have already done it, what do you wish you knew before doing this?

And other questions I haven't thought of yet.
Would appreciate any sharing of knowledge and if you don't wanna type things out, you can just give me a link to any resources that I can read up on. Thanks!

Looking to purchase a home for own stay during this HOC campaign.

Work location is mainly Kota Kemuning and PJ, so a location that can easily access these 2 areas would be good. If it takes more than 35 minutes to travel to KK and/or PJ, then not interested.

Some locations in mind: KK, Subang, USJ, PJ
Prefer Chinese area.
Budget is 500k.
Can be apartment or landed (but should be near to impossible with this budget).
Gated and guarded area preferred.
