Penang Medical College 6 Year Programme

hello everyone, i have been offered a place in PMC's 6 year programme to study medicine. Unfortunately i have not been able to get much information about this programme which starts this september (2012). I was wondering if there were any PMC students who have/are/will be studying there or have undergone the 6 year programme would be kind enough to enlighten me on these enquiries:

1) when will the programme start? i know it will start in september but the letter did not specify the exact date of when the programme will commence

2) what is the size of the intake? how many students are enrolled into the 6 year programme and out of that, how many are international?

3) what are the subjects we are required to study and how will we be accessed?

these are the main agenda i'm bringing forward which requires dire attention as it is already late august and i need to get started on my preparations. other small matters i wish to get info on is basically about tips on how to live in penang. eg: accommodation, transportation, customs, cultures, food, ethics, ect.

thanks in advance, i hope to get swift well informed replies
