Road tax cancellation

Hi. I sold my car to Carsome and I am not sure if I am able to get back my original road-tax sticker

I have read that I need the original road-tax sticker to cancel it at JPJ counter. If I don't have this, is it still possible? Do I have to pay any penalty?
Tried looking this up online but cannot find anything. Also tried to call JPJ, and you can guess how that went.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Edit: Managed to call JPJ and they said that because the transfer has been done (i.e. when I thumb-printed) they cannot cancel the road-tax because it is no longer under my name. WTF

FULL DISCLOSURE. PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND:
NVIDIA misrepresented the amount of "good" RAM for ALL GTX970s. Although it says 4GB, only 3.5GB of the RAM is considered fast while the other 0.5GB is considered slow. There will be performance issues on ANY GTX970 when running games with ultra HD textures (e.g. Shadow or Mordor). However, if you dial it down a bit you will be fine. I've managed to run games like Witcher 3, Division, Rise of the Tomb Raider all on ultra settings at 1080p

Game: The Last of Us

Reason for sale: I bought this game from Australia because it basically was a "must play" title. I don't even have a PS3. Had to borrow a PS3 from one of my friends. Now that I've finished it, I don't need it anymore. This game is really good for those who don't know. If you like linear story driven games, definitely would recommend this.

I used to just track the cashflows of my transactions, knew I was generally making a profit but not knowing how much. So I looked online and I found an excel template made by a Singaporean dude. Quite helpful. I'm sure that there are better tools around like Quicken, but this should be good for people just starting out.

I'm currently looking for any internships available in IT related companies during the months of June till September. I do not really wish to go into the field of programming, however i would like to gain experience with large scale networks and systems, administering and setup. I am also quite interested in technology journalism and any publication (online or in print) would do. IT departments of commerce related companies would also be good.

my sister bought an Acer Aspire 4720 notebook 2 weeks ago. It came with linux. I have a spare copy of xp lying around from her old PC so i decided to install it on that. XP didnt recognize her SATA hdd so i had to make a slipstreamed CD.

everything went fine, since the laptop was "MADE" for windows vista, i had to ask acer tech support for xp drivers which they gave me a link for.
all the drivers worked except audio. i tried and tried, i went to realteks site and those drivers didnt work as well immediately assumed it was the fault of windows. so i installed ubuntu and installed the drivers. NO SOUND STILL.

so i take it to acer tech support (High-point or whatever they call themselves) and they take the laptop for over a week. they did not replace the notebook but they say it is probably the motherboard and they will replace that. in the end they call me today that IT IS NOT the motherboards fault (they replaced it supposedly, i will check this) and they say is the fault of my windows XP! wtf. they tell me to go and pick it up tomorrow.

i find it hard to believe that BOTH OSes dont detect the soundcard even with the drivers given, and they say im the FIRST person that the drivers havent worked for. any ideas what i could do? or how do i force them to REPLACE the whole notebook?

everyone has problems with tmnet streamyx packet shaping. unless of course you use Boleh VPN. why pay for unthrottled torrent traffic? all it takes is a bit of extra time to set up.

this might not be for everyone. but amazingly enough Linux solves it. Deluge Torrent (www.deluge-torrent.org) can encrypt the FULL STREAM of traffic out of a bt client. which means tmnet cant read your packet headers. take that you bastards! deluge is only available on linux. i dont know any other torrent client which does this. if any windows one does this please let me know.

download any linux distro (i suggest ubuntu) and try it. i get 50kB/s Download and 25kB/s uploads. thank you and goodnight and good luck.
