Question:
Some new project when the developer launch, they are promoting their properties due to MRT2 will be coming. But after reading the link above, it's seem like the route change. Can the buyer take any action against Developer?

Project i knew is those new to Alam Damai Cheras, ie: Cloud "Pokok", and a few project near alam damai too....

[Need help] water pressure pump noise + vibration

dear sifus,

I just moved into my new house and finished renovation.
The previous owner installed a water pressure pump under roof, and if not mistaken, is Panasonic brand.
During renovation, there is no issue/problem from the water pump.

But recently, there is some problem.
When i turn on power for the pump, the water flow is strong but is not balances, and i can heard some vibration sound from the roof.

Can anyone briefly describe what's going on with my pump? is it sth wrong with the pump? or other reason?

I hope can get some expert/sifu advice before i start engage with anyone....

Additional info:
My house is double storey and water pump only supply for the water for 1st floor only.

Update:
I went up and check the model, is Panasonic Automatic Shallow Well Pump, model A-125J.
Actually the motor didn't vibrate/shaking, just that some sound is coming out from the pump when is running.
However, if i turn on 2 water tap at the same time, the sound went off.
So if only 1 tap is open, then the sound is back.

Any idea?

Beware of this wiring guy (Din)

hi all,

i would like to warn you, not to ask this wiring guy, Din, to take your job.
He is a Malay guy, slim and tall, height about 175cm, i think he live in Cheras area.

What i experience:
i am looking a wiring contractor to do my house wiring, then i asked around and met him since he is doing another house wiring near my area (Cheras).

at first, he is quite nice and give me a quotation after i had told him what i want to do on wiring. Be honest, his price is quite cheap as compare to others. So i told him to start work in end of Dec, after Christmas.

Then, during Christmas, he called me and said can't start work, coz his staff all on leave. then i said, ok, let's start on early Jan, 2 Jan 2014. He said ok.

During end of Dec, i keep calling him and would like to remind him to start work, and even sms, but no respone. till 2Jan, no turn up and no reply call/sms.

As at today, i send him sms and tell him 'bungkus' ady.... and now i struggle to find another wiring guy to start my work since my wet work is starting now.

So lucky i didn't pay him any deposit, if not, GONE.

This 'Din' contact is 017 - 235 7048 ..... PLEASE BE ALERT !!!!!

my advice to those who want to / looking for renovation by themself, pls make sure you don't pay them before they start any work!!

Uneven Wall (WTA)

Beside skim coat and wall paper, is there any way/method to solve it?

dear all,

i would like to seek your advice.

Currently i just bought a double storey house in Cheras.
And my wireman told me that there were many point were loops, like air-cond/water heater and some power point.
And his pricing is so ExPEnSive and i don't think i want to engage him.

1) i realized that some of the air-cond/water heater is taking direct power from MCB, where i can't see any air-cond/heater button like this : https://www.google.com/search?q=power+point...147%3B300%3B300

Just wonder is it consider save if without the power point show as above?

2) I hope someone had experience with their wiring and recent quotation to share with me.

To supply (new = direct from MCB):
1) New 1HP Air-cond power wiring (1 in grd flr, 2 in 1st flr)
2) New 1.5HP Air-cond power wiring (1st floor)
3) New 2HP Air-cond power wiring (grd floor)
4) New Water heater wiring ((1 in grd flr, 2 in 1st flr
5) New Microwave wiring + add 13amp power point (2 units)
6) New Astro point + add 13amp power point (5 units) + LAN Cable point + Telephone point
7) New Unifi pipe
8) New wiring for 1st floor point
9) New Water pump wiring + relocate point
10) Split Auto gate into 1 MCB
11) Relocate master bed room down light (6 units) and 1 fan
12) Add 13amp power point (4 units) - 1st floor)
13) Labor for Changing MCB box to bigger size and additional MCB (material by owner)

Remark: Price including hacking, conceal PVC pipe, cover back the wall, clear all rubbish, suis/socket. and All material is SIRIM approved.
