Unfair Policy From Famous Mall

I'd been running businesses in malls for years.

Among all malls, every malls are okay but only one of them totally disappointed me with possible racism and unfair policy.

Back to 2-3 years ago, when I was searching for new space to expand business, I contacted a mall manager, and told him my business type, I greeted "salam" and was texting in Malay in the whole conversation (he thought I am Malay), he offered me RM2.2k and I agreed.

Then we made appointment to meet him in the mall, he didn't expected I am a Chinese, then suddenly he told me the rental will be RM4500+ because my business conflicted with other tenant, the thing is I already told him about my business detail at first then only he offered me RM2.2k.

I was confused and it reminded me about some posts from Cari forum, which were about in the same brand mall, Malay will be given lower rental, then it makes sense now.

Other than that, their manager were kinda sweet talk when negotiating. One of the question that I asked before accepting the offer is: "I am distributing product A, will you let other tenants to sell same thing?" I was replied "No, we will not allow."

Months later, there are some tenants selling same thing but rebadged, I was being told "As long as not same brand then we will allow."

Then, they started selling without rebadging, whatever pricing I put, they will undercut my price, I refer this issue to mall manager, then he said "If you are selling iPhone, other can't then this is selfish."
I was shocked by their attitude before and after, I am okay if he tells me at first, but saying A and doing different just disgusted me.

For clarification, I told them I want long term, the manager told me long term is renew monthly basis without further explaining.

Just when I thought I couldn't be disgusted anymore, he told me mine is short term, my space can't do long term, and others are long term, long term tenant can violate the rules and no action will be taken.
He even said "If you are selling this product first, then long term tenant follows and complain you, I will terminate your tenure."

What do you guys think? Can you accept this?

For me, I will always select Pos Laju even it's not best courier just to support local company.

Although there are dissatisfaction over gomen or crony, but still putting money into local company better than into foreign company.

Few years back I only watched small part of random season, and I thought "cheh, kill zombies story, keep repeating same thing must be so lame..."

Until 3 months ago, my gf and I decided to watch some shows, and I suggested this since she always love zombie fiction things.

Then only I realized, TWD series is a series that must follow from the first episode to have connection with the characters, since then we both addicted to that show.

We will watch the series whenever we are free, and we finished current episodes just last month, and we missed that zombie world, keep waiting eagerly for the release of new episode (28th Feb).

Then I read a news AMC+ will have early access to latest episode, so today I tried my luck and there it is!!!!!

I know TWD hype already faded, just curious to know any TWD fans here?

Currently I posted vacancy on Facebook, because I am trying to get another source of income by expanding my business.

So I need a worker to handle my current business.

I just offer basic salary at minimum wage + allowance + commission, without age limit.

But I never expected 8/10 are uncles and aunties 40+.

At first I choose to interview youngsters first, but most of them didnt come to interview without informing me (celaka now I know why people call them "strawberry gen"）

Among them there's a 45yo guy who has 4 kids, I am not willing to proceed because I think the salary might be too low for him (around 2k based on average worst sales since MCO), but he is quite active and I started to consider.

Then since the first post I posted on Facebook, this auntie/nanny who has experiences in doing sales already pm me, but I just reply I will consider to not hurt her feeling.

Days after the celaka strawberry gens went missing, I re-posted and she text me again and wants to meet me for interview. I told her actually I think this job is not suitable for her, coz it's long working hours, have to work independently, and most important thing is she has to teach customers how to operate gadgets.

But she insists age is just a number, and she looks fit. So I agreed to meet her and tell her maybe I will give it a try, tomorrow we will have a talk.

So....what do u guys think?

No Point Blaming Politicians For Covid-19 Spike

IPOH, October 6 — No point in pointing fingers on politicians for the sudden spike in the Covid-19 cases as the virus can be contracted by anyone, said Perak Mentri Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu today.

“Some are angry with the politicians, but the virus does not ccare whether the person is an American president or a normal person or a particular group of individuals, (anybody can get infected),” he told reporters after attending the State Level Integrity Seminar at Hotel Casuarina Meru here.

Yesterday, police said that they have opened investigation papers on two banners, blaming ministers and politicians for the sudden spike in Malaysia’s Covid-19 cases, which were hung at the Ipoh Stadium Food Court and a pedestrian bridge in front of Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (HRPB) here.

The banner at the stadium read: “Rakyat jaga rakyat, menteri jaga poket (the people care for the people, ministers care for their pockets)” while the banner at the bridge stated: “f**k politik 317 kes (f**k politicians 317 cases)”.

Ahmad Faizal urged the public to not panic with the reports on the increase of Covid-19 cases lately, as he said that the virus only spreads in enclosed areas.

“When the cases increase, I expect the National Security Council (NSC) to implement the conditional movement control order (CMCO).

“However, the agencies involved share the view that the cases are only increasing in certain areas and was not transmitted via official events or programmes.

“Therefore, if the people adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOP) by maintaining physical distancing and practising good hygiene, we can control the spread of the disease,” he said.

Ahmad Faizal also said Perak government will maintain all the SOPs under the recovery movement control order (RMCO) for now.

“We will constantly monitor the situation and see whether it is necessary to restrict business and social activities in the state. But for now SOPs under RMCO remain,” he added.

New Covid-19 cases rose rapidly after the Sabah state election, affecting several states in the peninsula.

Yesterday, Malaysia reported 432 Covid-19 cases, a new record daily high for the country.

With this Malaysia recorded a total cumulative of 12,813 Covid-19 cases with 137 deaths so far.

Hi, there is a kid will come to me when her mother is working (minimum wage worker).

His mum is single mother (very old, dun cheebye), husband died caused by accident at construction site many years ago.
She also has to take care of her mother, so can imagine how hard their life is since the single mother is the sole breadwinner.

Recently the kid came to me almost everyday, I wasn't realized until my gf asks why the kid so free as students still need to online learning.

Then only he told me he doesn't have smartphone to study, neither his mum.

Hi sifus, I just started to pay my house loan.

3rd of September I din see there's deduction in my savings account, so I pay manually into house loan account.
5th of September auto deduct again, which means I paid two month installment in first month.

My question is, is it ok if I transfer all the funds from the savings account linked to auto deduct, to another account so that the system can't deduct payment from my saving account since I already paid 2 months in first month?

Accident Twice In A Week

Hi guys, my two family cars got into accident recently.

First one was hit by a reversing car which was coming out from parking space, he didn't check first before reverse. Sergeant said the fault was on the guy.

Another one was just this morning, my car kena rammed from behind, this one easy, buttsex conlanfirm wrong.

This is the first time I got into accident, I dunno how to claim their insurance so I asked the sergeant, then they keep me waiting, hold my report till the runner came.

Seems like the runner is trustworthy since recommended by sergeant.

The runner told me I don't need to fork out single cent, they will handle everything for me, just that I need to provide car ownership document, my insurance, IC and license photocopy. Then my car will be at their workshop for a week.

I asked the workshop that I am familiar with, they told me I have to pay the repair fees first, then they will help me claim and I will get the compensation 6-9 months.

My questions are,
1. Send to familiar workshop or just let runner handle?

2. Is it safe to provide my insurance? Cause I scare later they claim from my insurance.

3. I heard that I can claim the car rental fees as I don't have another transport to work if my car at workshop. Is it true? Is it able to claim car rental if go through runner?

I promise I will post nasi lemak threads to repay /k kindness.
