Malaysian Passport stamp

Hi, I'm a Malaysian passport holder.

I just want to know, if I'm travelling to other countries from KLIA or klia2 airport, how do I get my passport stamped by immigration officers?

I know these days we just use the machines when we leave and arrive in Malaysia.

The other day I tried going through the counter manned by an officer but she just checked my passport and did NOT give me a stamp.

Is it still possible to get a stamp when leaving and entering Malaysia for Malaysians?

Coasting in Neutral (auto car)

Hi all, I have a 1993 Proton Wira (Automatic Transmission) 1.5L. Usually when going downhill, I switch to N (Neutral) and let the car roll. I also do this when I'm approaching a red traffic light. is this bad for the car? I did some research online but they say it depends on the type of car. Please advise.

Database Management Systems

Admin, please don't ban me.. I don't know what is this thing that this guy on fb told be about, so I'm asking fellow LYN members for some advice. Pls don't think I'm trying to promote this thing. Thanks!

Story:--

Today, someone I haven't met before messaged me on FB and told be about this database thingy. He was specifically looking for students from HELP University.

Here's what he said:

"I'm involved in a project and we're currently looking for student ambassadors and student representatives. And I noticed on your Facebook that you're a student from Help University. Ambassadors get to make an extra Rm2000-Rm3000 in a month while representatives make about Rm740 – Rm1000. So if you don't mind making extra money while being a student I can tell you more about this project."

"Basically it's a Microsoft pilot project where we are building demand for a multinational company by creating online microdatabase.This project was launched to help students/working class people to help them make money due to inflation and recession where in the future, getting a job will be a tough competition in Malaysia. You will be clearly taught and explained how to do so through out the briefing of the project."

When I asked whether it's MLM or direct selling, he said, "no, it's not MLM".

When I asked whether I can have the website to this thing or not, he said, "Sorry, the website is only exposed to the person who are already in the project, because it is P&C of the company."

The briefing will be at Starbucks, Sunway Pyramid next week.

My thoughts and concerns:

Why is he being so vague about it and why not reveal the project?
Where is the data being obtained?
Where does the money( that they will use to pay us students) come from?
If it's really Microsoft, then no need so vague. And why use students to recruit others?

Questions:

1) Has anyone here heard of it before? If yes, pls tell me what it is.
2) Does it sound suspicious/fishy to you?

Floating video player?

Is there a software for Windows that plays videos in floating mode? Sort of like the floating apps in android devices.

For example, I'm watching a video in Media player classic, then I want to go to Facebook WHILE watching the video as well. Maybe the video player can be floating somewhere on screen UNTIL I minimize it. So far, I think the closest I can get to this is to snap windows so that there are two open windows in my display. But that's annoying.

Any recommendations?

Should I continue to be friends with ex-gf?

I'm 18 this year and I had a relationship when I was 16 (6 months). That was my first and only relationship so far. I have no intention of finding a gf for now. Or maybe it's because I'm afraid/ no girl caught my attention etc. But that's not the issue now.

Anyway, my ex is the same age as I am and we were in the same secondary school. After 1.5 agonizing and painful years, I finally managed to move on.
How did I know? I just didn't feel the pain and the need to try and be with her again. Our relationship was a secret because she wanted it that way. But of course, secrets do leak out and eventually most of the people in our circle of friends knew.

We were real good friends since Form 1. Naturally , all that changed after we broke up. Currently, we rarely contact each other. Even when we do meet up (with a bunch of buddies, of course), our conversation is short and contrived. I've talked to her (in the past) to just put the past behind us and drop the awkwardness, but things still remain unchanged. I don't feel like bringing this up to her once again.

I know that if I truly want to move on, the best way would be to stop all forms of contact with her. But the problem is, we have too many mutual friends. I mean, it would be really weird if I were to keep avoiding going to outings with our buddies, right? Besides, if I were to avoid communicating with her during those gatherings, our friends would notice. Of course, I know that our friendship would be wasted if I were to avoid her, but I'm okay with that. No point in letting the past keep me from moving on.

I've thought of asking her close friends to 'fish' for opinions from her, but I'm afraid her friends would tell her that I asked them to ask her.

In the past 3 months, it was I who initiated contact (I called her once and texted her once [yes, i know it shows how rare we contact each other] ). She called me once, that was just to wish me 'happy birthday'. Okay, perhaps there was interaction by her thru social media, but that was just fb and instagram likes, not proper communication. We did talk a little at a recent gathering with friends.

So, here are my questions :

1)Should I continue to be friends with my ex-gf?

2)If I really want to be friends with her, what should I do?

3)Because she didn't bother to contact me, does it mean she doesn't really bother about me as her friend?

Please don't say that I haven't move on just because I asked this question, I'm very sure I have as I don't frickin' grieve over my loss anymore. It's just that this question keeps bugging me and it's not something I can simply pop out to my friends (we have many mutual friends).

Any advice would be really appreciated.
