Hi guys, I need your opinion on tumour marker for ovary cancer.

My wife today got back the result of her health screening test and the results for tumour marker are quiet worrying. This is her results.

Her AFP and CA 125 are slightly higher than normal range which, according to the doctor is the possible indication of ovary cancer. However, the doctor also said that this is not that alarming since the values are only slightly higher and besides, my wife's immediate family members have no cancer history. The doctor suggest getting another check up after 6 months.

Where would you guys suggest us to go to get second opinion on this? I was planning to go to government hospital to get another check up. I've read that pathlab and BP healthcare also can provide this kind of check up. How much is it for tumour marker test and is it sufficient for detecting ovary cancer? Any other tests that can be recommended?

FYI my wife's health screening is conducted by Clinipath Malaysia SDN. BHD.

Hi guys. Is there any shop in one utama where I can print something like cyber cafe? I want to register for a credit card tomorrow but I forgot to print my pay slip. I don't have printer at my home. I do have the soft copy of my pay slip in my thumb drive though.

maxis broadband termination

Hi. I just purchased maxis broadband wireless yesterday. After tested it for a day, I'm not quite satisfied with the speed. I may want to terminate the service.

Does anyone know whether Maxis got like grace period where i could terminate the service and got refunded? Thanks.

Cold calling for job search

Hi guys.

I need your opinion on cold-calling for job-searching purposes.

Is it normally practiced here in Malaysia?

Does a job seeker who cold calls a company asking for vacancies stand a better chance of getting an interview?

What if the company is a large MNC that has online job application on it's website (eg: Nestle, Petronas, Sony), would it still be appropriate to cold call them asking for vacancies?
