Help! AC68U fried WAN, Can use LAN as replacement?

Hi all. Need some help here.

My router WAN port is spoilt, how do I configure to use LAN port as my WAN? Asus RT-AC68U.

This can be achieved by using dual WAN right?
I tried setting up dual wan, primary is my WAN, secondary is my LAN port 1. Both using PPPoE settings with my unifi account.

With hope that my secondary WAN can connect, it doesn't. It always show disconnected.

Any idea what I did wrong? Or suggestions as to how I can use the router without working WAN port?

Many thanks.

UniFi - RG TMRND Gen1.0 Router Discussion Thread

Most of the discussions were for DIR-615, however I believe from last year, subscribers are getting this black RG TMRND Gen1.0 right?

There's a lot of questions regarding this router.
DIR-615 certainly has better support and most problems are solved, but for this tmrnd, a lot questions have no answers.

So, if there's no existing TMRND router discussion thread, make this the 1st.

Let me start questions from 2nd post onwards.

If u're experiencing wifi dropouts on your Sony Xperia 2011/2012 smartphones,

follow here first:
http://talk.sonymobile.com/message/154244#154244

But most of the time it won't work, so follow this:

RED STARRED is important. I changed it and straight away work with my acro S.

Default:
RTS: 2346
Fragment: 2345
DTIM: 100

This is my screenshot of RG TMRND gen1.0
RG TMRND Connection Alternative

Broadband provider
ISP/package: Unifi VIP5
Location: PJ, SLG
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: No

Personal equipment
Modem: RG TMRND gen 1.0
Router: RG TMRND gen 1.0
Firewall used: -

TMRND has a weak wifi. Im experiencing problems like Xperia acro S wifi connection dropouts.
Couldnt get the settings to work. Im fed up with this router.

Since i got a 3Com last time,
Can i connect it directly from BTU?
Because my 3Com OfficeConnect doesn't have VLAN port.
Can i use POST connection to my 3Com? (If i don't want HyppTV)

If can, POST1 or POST2? I realise POST2 will not work for call/fax.

Thanks.
