Something is eating out my RAM

Hi guys,

Ever since I downloaded some direct download files from the www.torrentz.eu website, my ram goes up from 700mb to 1.5gb to 2gb when I'm not doing anything

The program called SweetIM.exe was installed on my computer, but I managed to remove it. But I think it was probably not completely removed

I have tried many Anti-virus softwares like AVG and Bitdefender, and also Malware softwares like Malwarebytes, Spybot search and destroy and also hijack this but nothing seems to be eliminating the extra ram usage.

Somebody please help!!!!!

Hey guys, I always wonder, a lot of people from my school, they go and study overseas to Australia and UK without any scholarships, how do their parents fund their studies actually? Do they really pay the overseas fees of RM100 000k per year directly to the university according to the fees deadlines/ semesters or they do some kind of installment payment using bank loan and stuff? Anybody know? Cuz there's too many people doing this, and I don't believe that everyone is that rich. Overseas education in Aus already costs close to RM300k for tuition fees alone.

Need Aware Admission Policies for Msian Uni

Hello everyone, I'm here to ask for your opinions on what do you think if a "Need-Aware" Admission Policy" and a "Need Aware Merit Scholarships" is implemented in Malaysian Public Universities/Colleges as a replacement of the discriminatory race-based quota. [ No flaming please, just constructive comments. Thank you.]

Because if we go full merit for this current time in Malaysia, it will hurt the Bumiputras and Indians a lot and give a lot of gains for the Chinese, which is also unfair due to the still racially imbalanced economy of our country. If we go race-based, its racist.

But if we go Need-aware admission policy, admission will be evaluated based on family income and merit, regardless of race. And scholarships will be given based on merit while taking family income into account. (Because some of the rich students are enrolling into multiple tuition centres and hiring tutors and buying a lot of reference books which is unfair for the poorer deserving students, regardless of race ) [this is my own term, might not be similar to the need based admission policies in American universities]

Don't worry guys Malaysia is not the only place that is having problems with the affirmative action policies, America is having the problem with theirs as well because they want to attract more underrepresented races such as african-americans and native-americans or hispanics students to diversify their university. And some other US universities such as the ones in California are banning race-based while some others are using need-based instead and some are full merit I suppose and bla bla. Because history (British colonization) was evil and racist which is what caused the racially-imbalanced economy we have now, and race-based was the old way of balancing it, but now the new way is "Need-Aware", for education that is.

Anyway, regarding the "Need-Aware" Admission Policy and a "Need Aware Merit Scholarships"

Bumiputras and Indian students should see the need aware policy as more beneficial than the race-based quota and full-merit, because most of the low income families in Malaysia are mostly Bumiputras and Indians and a small amount of chinese families, so most of the recipients will be deserving bumiputra and indian students because if they show effort, they are placed on a priority over other richer high achieving students, this happens while giving a chance for deserving poorer chinese students as well, in other words, it's not race-based but will give benefits to all the races here in Malaysia regardless of what the problems their race is facing because it focuses on family income and merit altogether.

This can also eliminate the situation where richer bumis or richer chinese or indian students from using their competitive advantage due to higher family income over the poorer deserving students and give the poorer deserving students more places in public universities as long as they show effort, regardless of race. The rich will also get a chance as long as they show an effort. Race will not be taken into account and is something that violates the system. It will give equal opportunities, more 'equal starting points' for every student as long as they show an effort and It will eliminate racism in the education system and attract a more diversified student community.

Hey guys, I wanna ask, Is Maxis better than Digi? Because I am currently a digi user, and i don't really like their service, cuz...a bit like streamyx, got gangguan . Anyone know any part-time job for a secondary school graduate like me that can get around at least RM2000-3000 per month? I worked at MPH bookstores for 2 months last time and they gave me only around RM500 for each months which was really crap as my other friends who work at other places like Harvey Norman or Pan Malaysian Pool get at like at least RM1000 a month, and thats only basic for harvey norman, not counting commission yet. Some guy at a guitar shop lately offered me a RM20,000 job which I think was crap because it must be some smuggling job, secondary school graduate like me won't get that much for any legal job unless it's like my dad's company or something. Anyone can help me out?
