Best way to send money to indonesia

Someone i know needs to send money to indonesia every month. Last time they tried using bigpay but the recipient says he never received the funds. When he checked with bigpay, bigpay says funds went out so need to check with recipient bank. Recipient bank says they dont check money received so bigpay needs to confirm if transaction happened. Really stupid situation where we dont really know if the recipient received the money or not.

Anyone here have any suggestion how to do this? Anyone have experience using bigpay or wise for international transfer to Indonesia?

I recently renewed my car insurance and the past few days I have been trying to renew the roadtax through myJPJ app but kept getting error "null".
today, when i try again, i get error saying my car is blacklisted. i check saman and there is no saman. this car has never got JPJ saman before and I had settled all pdrm saman several months ago.

i malas go to JPJ so far from here. i try calling but they never pick-up. really sh*tty service la. really menyusahkan suddenly blacklist my car for no reason.

I am planning to take hibah to partially cover my house loan.
my takaful agent suggested i take a plan that guarantees a flat price for 10 years until i am 50 years old and the i have the OPTION to extend it till 100 years.
my concern is the price will change from rm100 a month to double or triple. he says no no. most likely increase 20% only. is this true or is he trying to scam me? 50+ year old male's hibah monthly only rm120?

I am expected to get keys to my new house end of this year.
landed strata corner lot.

It has roughly 30' x 75' of land beside the house. Since this is landed strata, I am not sure what I can do with this space. Hoping people with experience staying in landed strata can help advise.

I want to create something like a patio area with either a dining table or a outdoor sofa set. but I would need a roof and some kind of flooring. I want to avoid having to get approval if I can so I am thinking of possibly using something that is not permanent like this pergola with sliding canopy.

and just laying some small concrete slab stepping stones for the floor. like this:

these are not permanent additions to the house facade so I think should be acceptable, right?

how to know if i can afford a house or not?
its a 30 year loan, man. a lot could happen in that time.

this isnt my first house but this one costs more than rm1M so I feel worried to proceed.

SA, bank and AI all tell me I can afford it but they are not taking into account possible issues in the future like if i lose my job.

just need to close eyes, believe that I will not lose my job for the next 5-10 years and the price appreciates so that I can sell the house if necessary.

as someone who lives life avoiding risks, this is really difficult to do.

PhD fresh grad pay

So, someone i know grad with PhD last year. She was offered a job with a multinational pharmaceutical company.
they offered her to come on as trainee under contract for 6 months, then if all goes well, they will offer her permanent position as Assistant Manager with pay of rm5.5k per month. they told her it was company policy for PhD holders to be asst manager and above only.

however, now she has completed her 6 months as trainee contract, the company suddenly change their offer. instead of assistant manager position with pay of 5.5k per month, they only offer her senior associate position with pay of 4.1k per month. when asked about the supposed "company policy" of asst manager position for PhD holder, HR replied that there are currently no AM position available in the dept she works for so they could not give her AM position.

seems like she got scammed but there was never any black and white to guarantee she would be offered the assistant manager position. it was all just verbal.

should she just accept it and move on?

last time i went to watch a movie with my wife. the movie was a bit boring. about half way through, i went to the toilet. on my way back, i heard F1 sound coming from the next door hall so i enter. hall almost empty so i just sit down at a seat near the door. it was the F1 movie. i was curious to see if its good or not worth the money. watch for 2-3 mins only then decided it was not worth the money to watch in cinema. dialogue sampah.

but anyway, anyone ever do this before? buy 1 ticket to watch 1 movie, then lompat2 hall watch other movies without buying tickets. is this frowned upon by the cinema?
