TP Link set up for Unifi

I recently bought a new router and am wondering if I can use back the same Unifi ID and password to set it up. Or is the password given by TM restricted to only one router and any new ones will require a new password sent to me?

I just recently upgraded my Astro to the ultra box but for some reason, I'm not able to change the resolution to 2160p. The screen stated "No input" despite me being sure this is a 4K TV. After much researching, I found that the ultra box requires HDCP 2.2 to play so I'm wondering does this TV model has it? I tried searching online but came out empty.

TL-WR1043ND ver.2 Issue

Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone has any problems with the TP-Link router (TL-WR1043ND ver.2) when used with Unifi?

Because ever since I bought and used it, my internet speed has been horrible (highest 6Mbps download/upload for a VIP10). When I used a direct connection via cable, the speed runs just fine. And it was worse when I tried to download things through my PS4 upstairs on the second floor where I could barely get any stable connection at all. And when I do get connected, it's downloading at a rate of less than 7kbps.

I didn't face any issue with the old DIR 650. So I refuse to believe that TP-Link routers are performing worse than TM's own sucky router!

So I'm asking, am I the only facing this? Or is there a guide that can show me how to properly set up my router? Because I didn't configure anything on it, only thing I did is fixed the channel to the one with the highest link score. And I did call TM but the problem never was fixed.

Force Enable Aero in Windows 7?

I had just recently bought the Y480 that only comes with a Windows 7 Home Basic. And with it, there's no full Aero support like in Home Premium.

I read a couple of threads and found out that there are tweaks/hacks one could do to force enable this feature. However, what I want to know is is there any risk involved?

Will my new laptop crashes upon every new Windows Update or even during the hack process itself? Anyone can recommend a safe way to do it without causing any harm? Or is it better that I don't attempt it at all?

Would really like this feature, though...

Thanks.
