Best way to pay for postpaid mobile phone bill

Hi everyone. Just a random thought. I've long been a prepaid customer and recently changed to a postpaid. Was thinking of direct debit to pay for my bills I'd prefer to view my billed usage before making any payments. So I'd usually use online banking or use the auto payment machines to pay my bills coz the queue at the service centre's are just too long.

So far I've not had problems with my payments but from the views of my mates, they'd still prefer to perform face to face transactions with an attendant at the service centre.

Care to share your experiences?

Laptop heating up and running at 100% CPU speed

Hi. I am using an Acer Aspire 4720 with a 1.5Ghz C2D T5250, Intel GMA X3100 and 2GB RAM. Mainly used it for simple web browsing, light gaming (CS 1.6 and Dota) and Microsoft office apps. I am running windows Vista home premium on it.

Recently my computer lags a lot and heats up when I open multiple programs (i.e firefox, Pdf, file manager and skype) and always happens when I am gaming. Everything starts to slow down and lags a lot when I am gaming. It only happened just recently. I also noticed that the noise emitted from my computer starts to become louder when this happens and it heats up more than usual. Also the CPU speed displayed on the task manager says its around 97% to 100%. RAM is approximately constant around 50%.
Is this a software problem? I scan my computer for viruses and spyware quite frequently and nothing seems to be a problem.
Will someone please give me some advice?

E&E or Biomedical science

I have just finished my Cambridge A-levels exams about a month ago and i have yet indecisive about my future occupation. In the start I decided to do electrical and electronic (E&E) engineering as i am really interested in electronics and wish to pursue something to do with it in future. Later in the course i found it hard to cope with physics and didnt find the application of physics as amusing as i thought. But im ok with maths.
On the other hand, I have always liked biology and found it easier to understand compared to physics even since high school. Therefore i changed my mind to biomed or biotech. However i am unsure about the job prospects and "marketability" of a biotechnologist or biomedical scientists.
Someone please please give me some feedback on this
My dad aint too happy with the idea of me sitting in a laboratory for the rest of my life ( as so he claims..... he's in the business sector btw) and im not sure if i want to spend the rest of my life looking at graphs and mathemathical equations......

Quality of audio output on the SE P990i

Hey ppl. Just wanna ask those who own a P990 or those who have used it before. According to some reviews the audio software used by the P990 is similar to the those found in the walkman series ( i.e similarities in UI and megabass ) . So how bout in terms of hardware? Does it fare as well as the walkman phones ( lets just say the same pair of headphones are used) ?

* a bit offtopic here...... how bout comparing its audio output with Nokia models?? or maybe with the N95
