[WTA] ps3 warranty

Hi guys, i'm considering to buy ps3 so i went to lowyat to gather info about the pricing..
i'm interested in 160gig slim ps3, they say its around rm800, and i asked about the warranty they said its 1 year store warranty..

my question is, can i get official sony warranty(+ its an old model which is not sold in sony centre)? coz i would not buy it from sony store malaysia.. how can i know that the ps3 is sg set or my set?

My pc is slowing down, bought the pc 5 years ago lol, and i want to upgrade my ram but im not sure which type of ram i should get, any idea? my CPU-Z says that my ram is ddr2 with 266mhz, i want to get better one so which mhz is supported with my motherboard?

oh and here is my full spec:
motherboard: MSI-7236
gpu: nvidia geforce 7600gs
cpu: intel pentium D 940
*RAM: 1gig

any upgrade idea for my pc guys? let's say i have rm 500 to upgrade it..

*EDIT: anyone know how many slots of ram in this motherboard? saw it has 4, 2 slot with same color and other 2 with different color, any difference in it?

Well, exactly as the title says.. I'm thinking about buying BELL VORTEX helmet from ebay, most of the seller is from USA. I am new to purchasing via online.. so any tips or suggestion I should know?
I've read through the forum it depends on your luck that the customs will hold your package or not. Buy from top-rated-seller.
