For an accounting graduates, everyone were saying external audit would give a good exposure and experience for "pre-commercial". It able to give them a better salary after jumpship from accounting firm to commercial due to easier to get promotion and able to get higher pay in long run before jumpship.

But if being said, the experience from accounting is a small/mid tier firm instead of Big4, is it still applicable that joining accounting firm will provide better career progress or better just join straight into commercial line (MNC)?
