Unstable WiFi

Hi guys. I'm working cum gaming a lot at home. Previously, my work table was actually at my living room hence never faced any unstable connection issues. However, after I moved my table to my master bedroom, I started to have issues with the speed. After troubleshooting for some time, realised that even though WiFi showed 4 bars (lowest 3 bars), the problem was still regarding the Wifi strength hence got myself a repeater. However, after using the repeater for some time, it all started again. Speedtest was always consistent showing around 9+Mbps download and 10+Mbps upload. Once I went into games such as Dota 2 or CS Go, I would get spikes and packet loss. Would this mean that I would need to get a stronger repeater? I have read through some of the threads here and some has recommended others to use powerline instead. But being in an old condominium, not quite sure how well would it work. Using network cable isn't an option already considering that my landlord wants all these things to be hidden. To hack the walls and pull a network cable from the living room to the master bedroom isn't really an option.

Current setup, Asus AC66U with repeater 2 rooms away (less than 13m distance), my master bedroom work desk is less than 8 meters away from the repeater. Please help. This issue is rather frustrating as I've been having issues uploading files onto company server as well. I'll upload a layout of my place for easier advice from all you sifus here later.
