Value creation and career

Hi everyone, my name is Jake. I would like to talk something about value. There's alot of youngsters outside wanting very high salary, but once we asked them what they can do, they remain in silence. Alot of the people have ald used to TAKE first, only they give.

But in my honest opinion, it should work another way round. The best way to be success in interview, or in a career, it's always what can I bring to the company first, then only how much I worth.

Previously I was a spoiled brat, TAKE first, give later. But this attitude do not help me in anyway in my career, I'm constantly sad, constantly complaining and always be a low performer. But luckily I have met my mentor. And he taught me about life.

Once I have this new mindset came into my mind, which is increase value first, then I find myself in a much better position. I no longer do complain, I work till my heart content. Within a year, from a person almost got laid off, to become one of the top performer, and at the same time, within just 2 years, from executive jump until become an assistant manager.

So friends, maybe some of you all might be facing difficulties in life now, work are hard to find. Instead complaining, I would encourage you all, to increase your value!

If you do not know how to increase value, now focus on getting more certs first, I would recommend the links below on learning Microsoft excel(every company uses excel). Because it is one of my tools for me to advanced in my career.

Insurance savings plan, would you buy one?

There are a lot of insurance agents get so rich by selling insurance saving plan, would you buy one?
They always promises the plan's return is normally higher than FD, do you believe that?
So saving plan is SAVING plan or WASTING plan?

[addedon]September 14, 2012, 10:15 pm[/addedon]Personally, i do not believe in insurance saving plan as when you pay premium, 10-20% is passed to agent, 5-10% is passed to the insurance company as risk premium! Is there any left for so called investments?
