Hi all,
Will be starting new job after Chinese New Year. Company is a company in China, offer letter will come directly from China. Will be based in Malaysia and there is no local office in Malaysia. Salary direct bank into my account.

So having concern on how do i pay my income tax, EPF amd Socso?

Hope anyone with similar experience can share. Thanks!

Hi all LYN members, i believe you sure heard a lot about myvi cars... any good or bad feedback on the quality? I am very disaapointed with prxtxn car... so, thinking perodua should be better... not sure...

also thinking to prebook the car, and only register it in Jan 09..

I have a friend using Panasonic Lumix digital camera... he just backed from his vacation... unfortunately, he cant viewed all captured pictures in his camera nor using laptop... they camera/laptop required him to format the SD card... please help... thank you

Modem: TM ADSL model
Router: DLink Wireless and Wired
Firewall used: No

Problem details
First occurence of problem: about a week ago
Problem frequency: almost daily
Problem description: Long latency time. ping www.yahoo.com, around 3000ms+. suspecting some download activities among my housemates. all are connected to the same access point wirelessly. the admin for the router went to oversea and lost contact. no password nor username for the router to do configuration. however, the IP of the router is obtained by using arp -a command in command prompt. 1 or more download activites chewing up a lof of bandwidth causes to slow net surfing experience. please advise. thanks

internet problem

dear all sifu, i am facing problems with connecting to internet. ok, make it straight to the point... i have tried to use wireless and wired to go online.. from the internet connection icon at the taskbar, it shows some internet activity, both sent and received. and i tried ping the website and command window. it shows the net is fine. but, when i clicked my IE or mozilla... for example, it shows connecting to www.google.com.my, but it doesnt show any bar at the bottom and the page basically failed to load.. can you all help me? thanks

hi, my office going to set up a new branch.. the thing is, my boss doesnt wan to spend on firewall (hardware) but wants to have firewall function to filter out some categories like porn, bla bla.. so, can i know wether this can be done by installing firewall software into the server?

Hi all LYN members, i dunno whether it is ok for me to post this here and seek for opinion from all of you here. Ok, let me brief all of you wish my cases..

1) company AA is a subsidiary of XX group of companies.
2) i am working in company AA.
3) company AA promised to pay our bonus by 2 times, half in january and half in july.
3) and i am resigning from company AA.
4) it is stated in the employee handbook that whoever left the company before july wouldnt entitle for the half of the bonus.
5) my queries are, it has been stated in the email by the management saying that company AA will pay the bonus in july.
6) besides that, company AA also doesnt tell all his new comers about there is such thing called employee handbook.
6) in addition, because of company AA is a new subsidiary of XX group, the employee handbook didnt say that the handbook is cover the staffs from company AA.
7) i didnt sign any document saying that if i leave the company before july, my another half of bonus willbe forfeited.
8) bonus are paid based on the performance of the staff in the passed one year.

my question is can i get back my another half of the bonus? just a noob in the working environment...

hard dilemma in making decision

here is my current situation..

i just backed from interview at company A.. currently i am working for company B.

company A needs me to join them in 1 month time... cant be extended..

company B needs me to give 2 months notice before leave.. leaving earlier need to compensate (which i dun wan to compensate)..

bu problem is, i wish can really join company A. the thing is the benefit from company A is not much higher than company B which make me, thats why i not afforable to compensate..

what should i do??

Good days to all members... recently i feel have problem with my eyes, the problem is that when i wearing my specs, i feel my eyes are stress... and when take the specs out, i will feel my eyes are relax even my vision is blur... what happened to it? power increased or what?

my powers are:
short sighteness : both eyes around 400
astigmatism : both eyes around 350
and my left eye is lazy eye, so the powers will be slightly higher..
