Job Description:
1. To provide IT support for business and management.
2. Desktop / Laptop support such as hardware and software troubleshooting. Responsible in assembling, preparing and setup.
3. ERP system administrator including account creation and system database backup.
4. Administrator to company servers and system in the servers (e.g. File Sharing permission).
5. Manage company email system including user account creation/deletion and email client setup.
6. Managing company internal networking and Internet (e.g. Firewall, networking switches, etc).

Working Hour: Monday to Friday (8:00AM to 6:00PM)

Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English & Chinese.
- Preferably Junior Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Network/System or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of working experiences, however, fresh graduates with good results are encourage to apply.
- Possess own transport.

USB removable activity logger

My company need to find a software to log any kind of activity on a particular computer especially any kind of transaction (copy or delete any file type) from PC to the USB removable disk storage (both pen drive or portable HDD).

Currently I been using software called watchdog from Rhombus Technology and I found it not that efficient enough to log the activity. I also trying to use the LyncRMS software but need to purchase minimum of 50 users license that cost USD 1,500.

Can someone suggest me any other similar software? Thanks

OpenSUSE and Windows print sharing

I install the OpenSUSE 10.3 last week. I want to install a printer that currently being shared by a MS Windows XP file and printer sharing. The printer is install at the Windows XP Pro, printer model is HP Laserjet 1000.

Problem is can't link it to my OpenSUSE, it can link my other printer using normal print server device but it can't link with the Windows shared printer. I tried method shows from internet that I searched (E.g using SMB, LPD) but it just can't link it.

Can someone help me about this matter.

Hi all, I not sure this posted anywhere else. If so, mods can close or merge this topic.

Anyway, as I want to check bandwidth today by using TM NET Speedometer, I came accross one of the option under the "Select Your Streamyx Package" is "Experimental 8M". Not sure when they start to put this but may be they really want to upgrade their system to 8Mbps

Open Suse 10 KDE login - Solved

I faced this problem when I change my faulty monitor. At first my linux cannot detect the new monitor. So I start in fail safe mode. I do some setting in YAST and I managed to get the screen back.

Problem is when I restart in normal boot up, It still will start in comsole mode. I have to login as root and fron there type "KDM" to go into KDE session. Is there a way to resolved this issue

Hi and good day to all "Sifu" of Linux

I have a question here, I have install SUSE Enterprise Server 9 ( SLES9 ). I also install Mail-Server. The mail server running perfectly to send mail internally in my company.

I want to know is there a way to configure the " Mailer-Daemon " Message when ever the mail server found any error in the mail. Can anyone help me on this matter? I tried to google around and still I can't find any further informations. The only manual I found is how to configure mail server publish by Novell.

Streamyx data rate

Hi guys...

I just get my streamyx after 3 years of waiting. I believe they upgrade the DSLAM to ADSL2 because currently my house located 5.3KM from the DSLAM. I subscribe 512 package RM66 and I choose self-installation.

I'm using Aztech DSL 3100R (4 Port Router + Modem) which I purchase last week. After pluggin the modem and power on, I saw my data rate as follows:

Download Data Rate: 8128kbps
Upload Data Rate: 864kbps

TMNET Speedometer shows my connection are 512 up and down. Is this what we called as miscapped? Please give a comment.
