I've noticed a spate of threads in the forum in recent months, mostly focusing around queries like "hey my xxx hardware died, and i lost the receipt. i need to know if this thing is still claimable, as its still within the warranty period."

since im a lazy *******, and malas to respond to every single thread with similar questions, this thread will serve as a central repository of what I hope will be an actively updated list of the official distributors of specific brands of the various types of computer hardware available in Malaysia.

This thread will be essentially a work in progress. Feel free to add in with brands I may have missed out, so this thread can be updated on a regular basis.

I'm currently doing about 45 minutes of cardio each time i hit the gym, not including the 5 minute cooldown period the machine adds in.

i dont use the treadmill though, and stick to the cross trainer and/or epileptical(sp?) machine, if thats what you call it... the one where you look like you're walking/running with adjustable crossramp heights etc. ive got a somewhat bum left knee, which got twisted pretty badly a couple of years back playing bball, so i tend to avoid high impact machines.

since the aim is obviously to burn fat, whats the best way to do things? i'm currently putting resistance to about level 8-10 depending on the mood, and averaging 150 steps per min on the epileptical and about 5kph (or was it mph, not sure) on the cross trainer.

should i be doing higher intensity/speeds with higher resistance? or low resistance + high speeds? from what ive been reading, the more resistance the better.

obviously, im also hitting the weights after that, but thats a whole different topic altogether, something which i will broach in a different thread, as id like to focus on the issues of cardio here.

tips/suggestions/critique are welcome, thanks!

Some of you buggers might know that i'm the Editor behind MAX-IT magazine, a local tech/hardware title. we're the same bunch of guys behind T3 magazine, PC Gamer and Digital Camera Magazine.

I am looking to start a regular section in the mag, focusing on reader's rigs, maybe with a rig of the month prize or something somewhere down the road, depending on what kind of prizes i can get the sponsors to stump up.

i welcome suggestions and participants from every modder here who wants their machines to be featured in a magazine read all across Malaysia.

Bola Basket v2

So, seeing as the original bola basket gathering decided to die a lonely death due to nobody giving a damn, i shall try one more time to resurrect our weekly gatherings of getting together to shoot some hoops.

anyone up for a game this coming weekend in Subang Jaya? There's this court somewhat opposite from Gazebo, across the main road. Only problem is, we'd have to get up pretty damn early to play (if we want to do a morning session) due to the bloody hot sun, or maybe arrange some afternoon get togethers.

2. chris_x - starts a ram sales, i PM him to buy, he PMs me to call him, after phone calls and PMs to him, he suddenly jacks up the price saying someone offered higher price but doesnt mention who, then in the end says he doesnt want to sell, doesnt even bother apologising for wasting my time and effort. holds other ppl in the trade forum to his standards of fair trades, but he himself doesnt hold himself to his own stringent standards. two faced, unethical, and a waste of time to deal with.
