Advantage of Studying in New Zealand

If you are considering your next move after Form 5 or Form 6 and you don't want to go to university or you couldn't afford to spend too much money or time, studying in NZ may be a good option for you.

If you enrol to study full time diploma course in NZ, you are allowed to work 20 hours per week during school term, or 40 hours a week during term break. Minimum pay in NZ is $13.50 per hour.

After you graudate, you can stay back and get a 1 year work permit to look for job in New Zealand.
When you get a job relevant to your study, you can apply for Permanent Residence.

I know of a case where a Malaysian graduated from a 1 year IT diploma course in NZ, landed a job within 6 months, with a salary of circa NZ$40K per annum. Not bad for someone without working experience.

Is this what you are looking for?

Cheers
