4790K won't boot

Hi everyone,

I am currently running on a i5 4460 on an ASrock B85m Pro 4.

I bought a i7 4790K and had tested with the seller to ensure it was running before purchasing.

I brought it back, put into mine, it booted right away. However, I had 16GB of RAM, it only booted with 8GB RAM (the other piece didn't read). So I powered down, re-insert both RAMs (in case it got moved when installing proc). Tried to switch on but got met with a completely black screen.

After around 1 minute, it resets, and re-boots to the black screen and this becomes a loop.

What I tried to do to troubleshoot:

1.) Remove RAM #2 and boot with only RAM #1
2.) Remove RAM #1 and boot with only RAM #2
3.) Remove graphics card to boot with Mobo HDMI
4.) Remove all Sata except OS HDD
5.) Reset BIOS and reboot
6.) Remove Mobo battery for 10 minutes before reboot
7.) Current Mobo BIOS version is updated, but updated to a Beta version (2.60)

All the above didn't work. Put back in the 4460 and it booted.

Sent 4790K back to shop, shop owner put it in his test mobo and it booted right away.

Anyone got any clues on what I can do wrong as now I need to take back the 4790K.
