Greetings to all Lowyat Forum members! I need opinions and advice from those who are experienced in the Agency Development (some companies referred it as Sales & Distribution, Agency Distribution, etc) field of Life Insurance Companies.

I have done some research regarding the Life Insurance industry in Malaysia, and according to the LIAM website, there are 17 Life Insurance companies which are the members of LIAM:

Allianz
AmLife (AmAssurance)
AIA
Axa Affin
CIMB Aviva
Etiqa
Great Eastern
Hannover
Hong Leong Assurace
ING
Malaysia Life Reinsurance
Manulife
MCIS Zurich
Prudential
Tokio Marine Life

So my question is that: among the Life Insurance companies listed above, in the field of Agency Development (Sales & Distribution, Agency Distribution) section,which one provides the best career packages, in terms of salary, benefits, exposure, learning curve, career advancement.

Of course, I'm aware that it would be difficult to compare them and say that which company is superior over other, as every company has its own strengths and weaknesses, as well as very different kinds of exposure. I welcome any kind of feedback and reviews if you happened to have worked with any of the companies listed, feel free to share if you have any kind of information about those companies as well. I appreciate all kind of responses to this thread, thank you in advance!

The reason that I ask about the Agency Development (Sales & Distribution, Agency Distribution) is because the idea of working in that area (from my understanding about the core job scope: conduct training for agents, provide sales support, bridge communication between the agency sales force and company) is quite appealing to me. If I miss out anything or have stated anything incorrectly, please pardon my ignorance.

By the way, other than being keen in the Agency Development area, I keep my options open, so if you have any insights about working in a Life Insurance company, I appreciate your comment!
