Barred from purchasing in Play Store

Hi there,

I bought a Nexus 7 in September and following the steps outlined in this forum, I claimed the USD25 from Play Store.

Bought a Note 2 this week and I registered account as similar to Nexus. Following that I am asked to verify my account by Google. I am asked to provide certification of US driving license or credit card US billing address or utility bills of which I don't have any.

I tried to purchase an item from Google Play but was barred. Tried to register another Credit card and again it failed.

I am not sure how to get out of this mess and I have no email to contact.

Anyone had similar experience and can offer advice?[attachmentid=3148418][attachmentid=3148418]

Time Machine failed to restore

Dear all,

I am not sure if anyone out there has experienced this.

I was using OS 10.5.8 and I did a Time Machine back up. I bought a new Mac yesterday and obviously it Wasserstein running 10.6. I did Migration Assistant overnight and this morning I found that only my Application was restored.

All my photos, data, documents and iTunes setting and files were missing.

I am not sure if this is normal or expected. Did I do something wrong when I backed up my old Mac?
What should I do now?

My old Mac is still ok. Should I transfer Mac to Mac via Ethernet? Or should I try to back up my old mac's data again today before trying to restore it to the new Mac.

I would appreciate any advice.

Non responsive screen

Hi there,

I am having problems with my iPhone's screen responsiveness.

There are times the left quarter of the screen remains completely non responsive and there are other times, it becomes very hyper responsive (ie it responses to the finger above it). You can see the phone becomes totally unusable as I can't do any thing with the phone. This condition is not permanent but happens about half the time it is used. Extremely irritating.

I had reset it numerous times but not much difference.

I went to the Maxis service center and guess what!....the phone behaved normally.

Sigh...so now I have to take a video of the phone misbehaving before I can sent it for warranty claim.
Have captured a few short segments already to date.

Anyone having or had similar problems?

iPhone went dead!

While talking on the phone with a battery of 50%, the iPhone went dead. Nothing.. No sign of activity even when connected to the computer or the charger.

This is bad. Have to go Maxis center today.
