Ok so far we have the ppl listed below. I posted a new topic so that other ppl not following the LAN party thread will know.

[WTA] Cheap 5.1 HT Solution

I recently bought a new LCD TV, HTPC and a Xbox360. The entire experience playing games and watching downloaded 16:9 movies/series on a HDTV is really great. I would like to enhance it further with a 5.1 surround sound system but the above items already blew a huge hole in my pocket. So i'm working on a very tight budget for my sound system.

An AV receiver with multiple input and HDMI input + speaker set would be the best solution since I wanna hook up PS3 and maybe a Nintendo Wii to the setup in future. But that will easily cost around 7-8k which I won't be able to buy in a year time.

So now, I'm thinking of an alternative solution. Please give me advise if this is technically possible.

My LCD TV Samsung LA32R71B. The specs:

There are decent amount of inputs for my LCD TV. HDMI, 2xcomponent, composite, and PC-Input. And there are 2 audio output jack as well. I assume that these 2 audio output can channels all input audio from any source out to the speakers connected to it.

So I'm thinking to get a Logitech Z5500 as my HT sound system. My living room is very small so I don't need big speakers. The speaker costs around RM1500. Speaker specs:

Hopefully my TV channel all audio input through its output jack including HDMI input as well. Please let me know if my idea is not possible.

Is RM1300 cheap for Xbox360?

Hi guys,

Do you think that RM1300 is cheap for Xbox360 unmodded?

I am worried they swap out some stuffs from the package or gimme some fake accessories.
