RAZER GOLD RELATED SCAM

I have been reading about razer gold related scam for a while now, and how it is similar to Itunes gift card scam in the US. I love looking at video on youtube on how these youtubers been trolling the scammers so i decided to try it myself.

I read online that most people in Malaysia got scammed while doing online dating, and sex related service in wechat, michat. So i downloaded Michat, registered etc and in less then 5 minutes, i got added by 'hot girls'. wow that fast.

what funny is that a simple reverse image search using google image, i can already found the source of the image (mostly philipines girls)

One of them asked me do i want to get serviced (massage and more). so i only continue chatting with this one scammer, and ignored the rest. I said yes go m, and she (most likely a he), asked me to go buy a razer gold worth rm150 at 7E and go meet her in front of a hotel. i made it look like i was dead serious to go meet her, and i needed her phone number so that i can get a location from whatsapp. And she did.

upon receiving the number, it was +62 (for those who dont know, it is an Indonesia based number). So this is the second red flag (after the reverse image search). So i told her im going, but i needed her confirmation that the picture was her. i asked her to give me her picture with a peace sign, she was unable to give. instead she give me some picture of her doing nothing. then i called her but she dint answer. so i ugut her by saying i needed to hear voice to confirm. 5 minutes later, some voice note coming in, it was a chinese lady voice (im sure the man pretending got some girls to talk for him).

An hour later i told the scammer that i know it is a scam, he got so angry he wanted to make me viral, this is the first time i heard a scammer want to make people viral he been msging few more msg but i just blocked him, got bored as i dont know how to proceed with trolling anymore.

but this type of scam is quite different from the one i watch / read online, as the scammer want to meet me in person to deliver the razer gold, which of course i dint dare to go, later kena rompak. but most case online, the razer gold only being scammed online, transfer, not face to face. So im interested to know what if i went there instead? what will happen? i guess i wont ever know. Anyone heard this type of scam before? enlighten me please

but it is soo easy to know its a scam (indon number, girl picture stolen online), but so many people still fall for this shit.
