Toyota Vios - Wheel bearing spoiled after service

Hi all - need some urgent advice regarding a problem I am facing with Toyota.

For starters, my car is a 3-year old Toyota Vios with 40,000 mileage. For this incident alone I've went to the service centre 3 times (all my servicing is done at Toyota) and I've been car-less for three days now.

The story goes...

From my last service a couple of months ago, I noticed that the front wheels started making clicking noises especially when braking and turning (slow speeds... click click click sound). I decided to go for a check only to be told that my brake pads are not original and implied that it was causing the problem. I was very surprised at this claim and insisted that was definitely not the case since I have never serviced my car anywhere else before. They agreed to recheck and concluded my brake was indeed original. Hence they did two things:

1) Insulate brake shim kit
2) Adjust drive shaft position

After that everything was OK until about 2-3 days later... when I notice again there are weird noises... this time louder as the car goes faster. This was much louder than the original clicking sounds so I brought the car back again. Also, I noticed the plate in the wheels (disc brakes?) were scratched.

Upon checking they told me these parts are ruined and need to be replaced / done:

1) Fitting kit
2) Wheel bearing
3) Drive shaft nut
4) Perform scheming work

I was to be charged RM500 for this. I wasn't very happy about this and after a long conversation (and double-checking my car) they decided the fitting kit and drive shaft nut doesn't need to be replaced / done... (I'm not sure what made them decide if it was necessary or not) but the wheel bearing still needs to. I was given a discount and told to pay RM170 for the wheel bearings.

Still not very happy about this... I read up some on the net and found out that wheel bearings can be damaged when doing brake jobs... so I'm suspecting in the first service (where they said my brakes were fake) was when the damage was done...

What are my options? I'm really bad with cars and don't know how to argue especially when they throw around all these technical terms at me.
