Tired of waiting from HR

The talent acquisition manager was very responsive prior to my first 3 interviews, within 10 days i progressed from 1st to final interview. After that dead silence. Every week i follow up with him through whatsapp the response always the same - we are interviewing another candidate, pls hold on.

How should i move forward with this application ? Getting sick of waiting frankly.. maybe i am no longer under consideration..

P.S am desperate to look for new job due to mismatch of interest with my current one.

As titled. Been working at this company for more than a yr.. sinc day 1 has been quite stressful and busy day for me. Suffer from sunday blue weekly and dreaded going to work due to the endlees amount of tasks. Is this a good reason to quit or will i face similar situation everywhere? Pay was not bad with bonuses before anyone ask.. not a reason for me to quit due to low pay... In fact got offered another job but salary was 20% lower than present hence rejected it, .

Advise needed desperately.

Sick of meetings

I am very sick of meetings in my company. I realise those high position eg. execs, they like to keep dragging the meetings, talk non stop, gives lotsa ideas and whatnot.. i really see no point in that. From 2 hrs drag to 4 hrs. Sure they may not hv other commitments, but the rest of us still need to do other work. Is it normal for a company to hv so many meetings? Whether it is related or unrelated, i aso hv to attend and seriously, a waste of my time. Spoke to my supervisor, but still, hv to attend because i am asked to.

Stress and affecting me mentally

I am very stressed out with my job..Been working in this company for a yr. since day 1 I hv never relax or lead a stress free life. many reasons for that.. unclear project direction, multiple on going projects and demands, clueless supervisor (basically will only push responsibilities to us) and never once offer good directions or suggestions, deadlines, too many useless meetings, and so on...

Wht shld I do. Been very actively looking for job and got called for interviews but till now never get a new offer. With this climate, is it difficult to get a job? Every morning I will keep asking why am I still holding on this job?

Stress with new company

I started this new company two months ago... Before joining everything looks good and bright. I was excited to join this company (have 3 yrs working experience, though i consider myself newbie).

After i join, i notice this company is bit too fast pace, and been stress for the past few weeks with work. Direct boss is good person but he has 0 knowledge on my jobs ope (from diff field). Everything just pass to me and offer minimal advice... Also, been stressed out talking to him as he jeep telling me this company will fire those underperformer etc etc.

Is this my own problem in not being able to handle things here... I feel there is no fit in this company though admittedly, i am just two months in here

I applied for this A company close to 3 months ago through jobstreet, then last month i noticed they actually view my application (like finally?). so they contacted me today to ask me to go down for interview.. however, I am in the midst of negotiating a new job with another company (B) and i feel like postponing this new interview..

few question:

is it a good idea to postpone it for 3 weeks - the reason is i prefer to work for the current company B that is interviewing me, but then, i was thinking to use this company A as back-up, in case i could not secure a job with A company. is it ethical (i feel like am wasting their time to use them as spare tyre)? i have a feeling i will know the result with company B in 3 weeks time..

also, why company A never get back to me until so late? so if they are willing to postpone my interview to 3 weeks later, does it mean that this company A is really desperate for suitable candidate (I assume they must have gone through many other candidate before contacting me?) ?

Is in dilemma. for the past 8 months, have been thinking whether to apply for new job or not. the situation is tht i dont like my jobscope (it pays decent, however). and the company is very small, colleague kinda do their own thing, evrytime lunch also alone, long story short, no interaction at all. feel like im missing something ? also, can be quite stress with my job (as i really feel tht i dont like it - and there is no one to help if i encounter problem, as the scope is very niche). but sometimes, i felt pity to quit halfway as my project is ongoing, and somtimes it seems promising ..

is it time to leave if say out of 7 days, 5 days i keep thinking abt my job and whine abt it.

hi. i have ps4 and ps3 slim and ps3 superslim. my qestion is can i use the power cord interchangeably? they look compatble but i do not want to fry them if they are not the same type.

also, what type of usb charger shld i use to charge my ps3 controller.. the ps4 cable does not fit into ps3 ds controller

guys need ur help and advices. have been with the company for 9 months.. basically my job deal with operating machinery (but truth to be told, i only have to deal with it once per month). the problem is i hate dealing with the machine as nobody is there to help, it is sole responsibility, something turns bad, tangung sendiri, so it is quite huge responsibility. been thinking of leaving and seek for other opportunity but so far, havent applied for any yet atm.

another thing is i dont reali like the environment, as the company is very small, my colleague rarely talk, do own thing (of cuz, no politik). but dont reali like the dynamic of the team.. if u get wht i mean, it is like 9 work, 5pm times up, back home attitude. even lunch have their own lunch, sometime no interaction at all the entire day..

shld i look for other opportunity? begining of the job, i told myself to give myself more time to familiarise with the machine work and such, but as time goes by, i realise this is not the job that i really enjoy. is that common?

serious: my hosuemate never bathe

i have this new hsemate. he is the worst person on earth. he bathe just once every 2 days. yes, he go to work, come back, dont bother to bathe. i mean thts is ok if he doesnt wanna bathe, the problem is, HIS TERRIBLE SMELL is flowing every corner of the house.

can u imagine, the sweaty smell?

how to tell him in a proper way that he stinks, and pls take care of ur own hygiene ?

i am fresh grad btw, with minimal working experience..

may i ask how long should you work at the company before hopping to a new place? i started my job 3 months ago, pay is pretty good, however i have mixed feelings regarding this company. sometimes i feel lucky to be there, bt many times i feel like the job scope/environemnt may not suit me.. and at times i made mistakes in my job and i get angry and depressed at myself. boss is pretty ok and understanding, a highly talented person but he can be quite sarcastic and hv high expectation on employees...

shld i hop or work for awhile..

i asked cuz presently my work place is like, busy day = very busy, then no busy time, can whole week nothing much to do. is this normal?

My gf and I are not really keen in that, we prefer use the money for vacation trip etc... After all we view banquet as very waste of money... Further more, it is soo troublesome for our relatives and friends... I'm pretty sure many would sigh whenever receive invitation for wedding and such, saying 'kena bomb again ar?!'

My question is, is wedding banquet really necessary and it is ok and normal not to have one by today standard?
