Im in a dilemma of choosing a mi pad or a ipad mini 2..difference of price is more rm 200 only for ipad mini 2 but mi pad specs looks so better..

Would like to buy either the Asus Zenfone 5 or Redmi Note for mum play games n call whatsapp, leaning more towards to asus cos the design is nice but the processor is intel atom dual core

Hi ! Just want to ask experts here for opinion, i loveeee taking food photos in restaurants and shops and upload to my blog. So im planning to get nikon j1 10-30mm lens to capture better photos of food(those pro photos in food blogs although i cant afford their DSLRs lol) and at the same time start to venture into food photography.

What i worry (im a noob though) is i heard j1 does not perform well in low lightings and indoor, i thought just take this time to learn some basics about photography , n maybe future can invest in better lens like the coming 1 NIKKOR 18.5mm f/1.8 Camera Lens. Wanna ask should i go for it or better options?

Btw my budget cant exceed 1.4-1.5k, and i prefer something easy to carry around
