Question on kitchen wiring

I am doing kitchen renovation for my house in Cheras, there's 1 existing powerpoint in kitchen. My wiringman first told me he needs to pull 2 additional main line power from 3-phase powerswitch to kitchen, RM200/line:

kitchen (1 original power socket), split into:
- fridge
- rice cooker
- hob (additional from main line)
- oven (additional from main line)

HOWEVER, today I found out he DID NOT pull additional line at all, instead, he split the same lines from existing points.

When I confronted him, he said he changed plan and just change the wiring at 3-phase power switch to use "bigger" Amps, such as from 15A to 32A switch. My question is, is this solution safe? what's the right way of handling the electrical appliances above?

I have a water pipe outlet that I want to move to another side of the wall and create a washing machine point + sink + and pipe point, less than 2 meters away.
The contractor quoted me RM300 per point, totals to RM900 for the 3 outlets, is this too much?

[WTA] Ceiling Light design ideas

Dear all,

I need some ideas/opinions on what lights to install for my house. I plan to do only cornice for alarm wiring and no additional plaster ceiling because I prefer higher ceiling for more "airy" feeling (and tight budget ). The picture is the ground floor ceiling:
[attachmentid=3671694]

My initial thoughts:
Living area: I am considering LED ceiling light like this (can switch 2 or 4 bulbs at one time, 6.5W LED bulb each):
[attachmentid=3671697]

Dining area: Initially I considered the drop-down type, but I afraid they are too low and look strange with 2 sets, is 3-in-row or 3-in-circle lights better? got other better suggestions?
[attachmentid=3671699]
[attachmentid=3671700]

Dry kitchen area: I plan to split this into 2 downlights

Rumpus area: I plan to put 2 downlights, aligned with dry kitchen downlights into L-shape.

Fan: Are the fan size correct for this space? What fan size I should get for rumpus area?

thanks in advance!!!

[WTA] Profit split for typical project startup

I am starting up a company with 2 other friends, here's the example on how the work is split:

1. I take care of R&D and overall product direction (managing director & CTO)
2. Another friend takes care of customer requirements and delivery (Marketing Director)
3. Another friend takes care finding new customers (Sales Director)

Assuming we do an IT ERP project and earn RM100k profit, how do you suggest we split the profit?

None of us are paid salary yet, just a new startup trying to talk about profit split without a paying customer now

Which Macbook laptop is suitable for my use case?

Hi, I am a web programmer and need some advice from existing users on which model is suitable for my needs.

I mainly use the laptop at home 90% of the time, and split between 60% on the lap and 40% dock to thunderbolt display. For using on 60% lap, I do normal web surfing, youtube playback, serious coding on Xcode, Android, python, ruby, and javascript, and ocassionally have 1 Virtual Machine running. I also do basic lightroom processing. For the 40% dock usage, I do similar thing but for more heavyweight CPU processing (like photoshop or photo rendering) or when I need lots of screen estate.

My priority is the laptop cannot heat up my lap too much. I have used Lenovo T61 & Dell e6400, and I find all of them heat up after a while that makes my lap uncomfortable, and I had to use a laptop cooler on the lap. If none of these meet my "heat" need, I would just go for Macbook Pro 15" with laptop cooler as weight is not too much an issue for me, I have muscle and I'm not a girl

Macbook Air 13 might fit my first priority well, but...

My second priority is that the screen has to be of high quality, I find coding annoying when the syntax colors are not displayed properly when the screen is tilted at larger angle. And the terminal text has to be clear enough. I am using Dell T6115.4" currently, and I am happy with the screen size, a bit worry the 13" screen might be too small for my usage...

My third priority is graphics/CPU performance when in dock mode, the window movements have to be snappy enough, I hope 2013's Macbook Air 13" model is snappy enough on thunderbolt display?

So, with these considerations, what do you Mac gurus suggest?
