Part Time Ph.D

HEllo dear Fellow men/women,

Me and my wife are both working in middle east. My wife has a bachelors in architecture and a masters in design. She currently working as a lecturer in an architectural college. She would like to pursue a Ph.d in interior design. We have heard malaysia has lot of options for Ph.d. My queries are

1) which colleges in malaysia offers part time Ph.d in interior design (preferably internationally reputed)

2) Is it possible to continue with the job in middle east and pursue Ph.d by visiting the "doctoral guide" once or twice in a year?

3) Is it possible to have scholarships or funding aids for part time Ph.d?? and that too not being from malaysia??

4) What would be the investment required for pursuing a part time Ph.d in malaysia if no scholarships or funding aids are granted??? {the college fees, accom, food etc etc}

Hope to have some light thrown upon these...

Thanx in advance!!!
