Replace bumper, insurance claim

So, my car was hit 2 weeks ago, and we both proceed to police station to lodge report. No issue about it. The accident happened in seremban, I was told by the officer i can get a copy of the report at any police station but the original i can only acquire from seremban police station. So my question is, can I proceed with insurance claim with copy of the report? And if u happen to know any workshop in sg besi can repair, i appreciate ur suggestion.
