Ram problem

my mother board is intel845 GVSR, 2 RAM slot previously using 2 x 256MB DDR333 RAM

1) now i buy one 1GB DDR400, it cant detect at all,can someone help me?

2) i try 1 x 512MB DDR400 , another 1 x 512MB DDR400(it stated non SPD), each alone can use,
once use this 2 x 512MB DDR400 together, is only detect once slot only, anyone know why?

but i want to buy Creative SB live 5.1,
which one better, is it worth?

Anyone want to sell the 2nd hand PCI 3D graphic card( ATI Radeon 9250 128MB 64Bit), because there are not selling in the computer shop now, and the price should be low, i see at other topic ATI Radeon 128MB for AGP is about RM50, so i offer around that price to buy the card.
***Note:is PCI not (PCI-E and AGP)
