Pendrive mini 2.0 problem

need some help here

i've just got my Pendrive Mini 2.0 1GB today.
when i plug it into my PC USB port, it is detected and everything seems ok, but when i try to copy files into it, an error message pop up and say "Cannot copy file: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.

Sometimes i can still copy smaller sized files (like .txt) into it, but cant copy bigger one like MP3 or AVI. Does anybody know what's wrong with it?

I've tried playing around with the embeded USB DISK PRO program but it doesnt help.
