New Car collection check list

I believe many people are buying new cars since last year due to reduced SST. And Yes, I'm happy I'm getting my car next week. I was naive when I bought my last car 10years back where I realize I was wrong to just cincai check on few things then just drive off. I was wondering if I can get some ideas from this forum on what to check during car collection? Let's make this into a list. I started mine as follow. Appreciate can give me more ideas.

1. Spot for Dent, scratches on the body paint
2. Windscreen check for any cracks or dark spot
3. Odometers mileage? What should it be? Less than 100km?
4. Engine and chassis number to match with document (Insurance and registration)
5. Number plate is correct with the document
6. Check power window
7.
8.
9.
10.

Lets update this list for everyone reference in future.

Slippery Toilet Floor

Hi Guy, Just wonder if anyone use some product to reduce toilet floor slipperiness? Anything good can introduce?

Few weeks ago I fall badly and knocked by head hard on the walls. Good and with luck I'm ok after lying down on the floor for 5minutes. Just got some headache but now think of it's it is so dangerous.

When fall you might also loose a thumb or a toe or might go ICU. It's so dangerous also if an elderly parents slipped because of slippery floors.

Do anyone use any coating or something? Can intro?
Please don't ask me to change tiles. It's so hard.

I wonder would maxis look in this?

I do wonder if Maxis will see this and how would they react on such messages forwarded to scam innocent people out there?

Obviously, I'm not that naive to fall into such trap but I wonder how they operate. I notice they are having huge dark organization with many staff working on cheating people's money byusing company such as Maxis to leverage their success to cheat more people.

I did not report to police as I don't think they will do anything.

Anyone tried to message such scam before for fun?

Prince2 foundation

Hi Guys,

Really need some help from anyone here.

I'm currently an engineer and being an engineer for 9 year now which I'm bit tired on this role. I'm thinking to make my next move but not as an engineer and probably management role.
I was thinking about upgrading and invest on myself which I found this course called Prince2 foundation. I had made some online searching on this and the similar course PMP don't seems fit me due to the requirement of 7,500 hours leading and directing project etc. So, Prince2 is my only choice it seems.

Do you think its a wise decision to go for Prince2?

Do you think having a prince2 foundation can increase your chances of been promoted?

Should I go for MBA instead? (which will took me like 3years part time study)

Can anyone share your story or shed some light on this?

DELL OEM License

Hi Guys,

I have a big problem here. Recently, I had my motherboard changed by Dell and somehow their technician corrupted my Windows and unable to recover it at all. I had no choice but to format it.

Previously, this PC is pre-installed by Dell in Window8 system. It was like few years back. After that only I upgraded it to 8.1 and then Window10. I never did clean installation before for this PC.

My problem here is that I can't use the Window 8.1 activation Key to activate Window10. I had tried to search on the internet but I have no luck on finding.

I believe it's an OEM license that Dell is using and they may have a common licence activation. Anyone here know where I can get that? or maybe how to convert my Window8 license to Window10?

Can Anyone help me??

In fact, Valentine's Day was originally meant for everyone you love. Nowadays it had change like a must have event to celebrate with your wife or girlfriends. Valentine's dinner, gifts,flower and etc with fancy ideas had been in a competition run. People compares to each other over the media. Showing how great their Valentine's was. Meanwhile, businessman is ripping off money from the males groups.

Now, even have Valentine's to be celebrated every month. Zzz.

Ceiling Fan

Guys,

Not sure if other brand fan also so lousy or what. My Alpha with a normal fan speed selector(those traditional type which you can twist and select the fan speed) have problem oledi after 2 years.

The problem is I select speed 5 and it still at speed 3, I select speed 2, and it barely move. I had swap the selector oledi but it seems that's not the cause of it. Any idea if anyone can repair this?

Removing rubberish/chemical smell from CarMat

Guys, seeking your advise.

I recently bought this custom car mat from one seller here and it's smells. According to him, his car mat don't have smell and refused to change for me and claim that the smell is perfume smell. Forget about the negotiations and complains to him. He just refuse as his product is just Satisfaction Guarantee, not money back guarantee and no warranty. If you want to know which seller just PM me.

Now I'm trying to remove this awful smell from this car mat. I oledi tried soaked in water (fully emerse) for two nights now. Tried to bake under the sun. But still smells.

And one have any suggestions on how to remove such smell?

Hi,

My old but still new Buffalo 500GB is already out of space. So far so good, no problem (I hope not) and I only using it when I need to excess my information.

Now I'm thinking of getting a new Hard Drive. Either 1Tera or 2 Tera but I can't decide which to go.

U may say just stick with Buffalo but I want to hear people's recommendation or maybe experience they have with certain models or something that We all may not know.

The banker introduce to me this fund saying and showing me the performance of the fund which is 8% per years average for some time now. She mentioned that this fund has risk but very good fund to invest. What do you think?

Went to few car wash and it's been like a norm for Malaysia car wash centre to use Acid or cloth detergent to wash your car. Some even put Maguire and still using the same thing to wash and not proper.

Anyone know any good car wash shop in Setapak area? Please not to ask me wash myself coz Im poor that I have to stay in condors where water access is hard.

Nose Problem

Hi Guys,

I'm having sensitive nose ever since I was born. I kinda tired of it already and many years ago I went to ENT Specialist to check and the specialist mentioned the "meat" in my nose have extra. His advise is not to operate to remove the meat as it will grow back later also. He let me take this spray which is very good but soon after I know that the spray he recommended have steroid, I stop using it.

There's alot of improvement after using that spray. After stop for quite a few years, recently my nose feel discomfort expecially when I'm having flu due to viral or sensitive. I'm thinking of seeking another ENT specialist attention in KL.

Anyone can recommend? The one I previously went is at my hometown and now I have to find a good recommended specialist in KL.

Guys, I'm just very curious that why my VIP5 unifi is getting 3.8mbps sometimes only. And normally I only getting less than that. I have raise to TM on this and they seems like doesn't find any problem with it. Is it normal?
