Anyone know whether the quality of Renex is good from a security perspective. I know everyone says Panther is good wonder is Renex mesh good or it easy broken since they use screw mechanism.

Home Setup - media player, HTIB, AVR ... ?

Greeting to all sifu,

Need ideas/recommendation on how to go about setting up a home system. My idea is to have unifi + TV + speaker + [media player, HTIB, AVR ... ?]

the [blank] device i am looking for should:-

1. play downloaded files like, ISO, AVI, MKV, RVMB ....
2. functions like a video/audio decoder ? i think
3. connection to one or two NAS
4. lan to UNIFI
5. wire/wireless to TV
6. go online ?
7. control from android/iphone/ipad
8. computer can connect to it to organise the NAS or play youtube if it cant go online by itself
9. works as a network hub between by computer, ipad/phone and NAS

a. how does an amp fits into this picture ?
b. how does a HTIB differs from a media player like v12 realtek and popcorn etc ..
c. how does an AVR fits into the picture ?

extra info:

i. I dont need console connection
ii. does connection the media player direct to my speaker a good idea ? or the quality is no good as there is no amp and its just a normal jack ?
