TM/Unifi contractor for cable replacement?

Hi all.

Recently i've been experiencing very frequent disconnection with my Unifi. The TM technicians came over to check and mentioned that the connection at Termination Box is fine. So suspect the copper cable from the TM box to my BTU is faulty and needs replacement.

I managed to contact one contractor but he's not responsive at all!!!!

Wondering if anyone knows any TM/Unifi/Maxis contractors or installers in Penang area.

Brake screeching noise - quotation reasonable?

Hi,

Basically my car was screeching like two metals scratching each other yesterday. Towed car to Kia service centre and given a RM2k++ quotation, tell me need to change brake pad la change this change that, saying brake master pump low pressure??

Actually the car was serviced last week and they assured me the brake can service a week later since i will be outstation. And a week later this happens.

If they knew something was wrong why say it's ok to drive and service after one week?? why not i just let them do it that day?

After arguing with the boss then finally got 'discount' a bit la to this price. ( see pic )

can someone help me to see if this quotation is reasonable? sorry i'm noobie in car mechanics

i'm already seeking other shops for second quote and my car is still there

Samsung Galaxy S3 black screen, about warranty

So i dropped my phone ( lightly ) last 2 days ago, but there was no crack or any flaw whatsoever. It looks new and perfect but when i switched it on it started showing weird funny lines then later it didn't show anything at all, but everything is still working, sound got, lights got, just black and can't see anything.

Then i went back to the place i bought it a year ago and they told me they sent it to the samsung repair centre then told me rm600 is needed for the broken screen. They also said i dropped it (which i've never told them when i handed in my phone). Then i went to another shop and they told me the phone was never opened for inspection cause there's no warranty cop and the little sticker on the screw is intact. Told me they probably want to scam us.

Then they told us to bring it directly to the authorized samsung repair centre cause it's still under warranty but do not tell them you drop it cause it doesn't look like it.

So, i'm going to the samsung repair centre tomorrow.

Do i need to bring the warranty card or purchase receipt? Can it be fixed under warranty?

I was a member of GT Gym and Fitness Center but they've shut down their gym for a month now, not entirely sure why, i heard it was renovation but all the equipment are gone so i dont think that's true. ( i wasn't really informed about this whole thing so i don't know anything about it really ) But i heard my friend saying that they've moved to Cyber City and they'll re-open in January but i wanna start working out now after 1 month without going to any gym

well enough for the story so now i'm looking for a gym near Simpang Pulai or Hillcity Hotel?? I live in somewhere near Taman Song Choon, around the Guang Yin Temple, so i'm looking for a gym nearby. any suggestions??

Hello everyone, not sure where to post this.

So i wanna go to Swedish House Mafia's concert which will be held on 18th january 2013 at Surf Beach Sunway Lagoon but i'm only 16.

I saw the ticket details which says 18 years old and above.

I really want to go to the concert but i'm only 16. I just wanna know how strict is this policy, like are they going to check your IC or something?

if theres no choice can i bribe them?

if anybody has experience please share i really wanna know, thanks
